Would someone tell me what happened with the coin flip?

The ref couldn't hear the call...the audio guy wanted to keep the Pats from audibilizing, so he turned up the piped in crowd noise too soon.

Tom Curran talked about it.

He said that the pats called heads, the ref dropped the coin, it came up heads, and he quickly picked it back up and tossed it again. It came up tails and Teddy got pissed.

One would imagine that he would have kept dropping it until it came up on the side that the ref wanted.
