Player Signing Now Hunter Henry signs with New England:

Why would receivers want to come here was a mantra...
It's usually about money and I think this free agency is proving that.

He’s done. His rookie contract is over before the 2 guys who will get all of the playing time are gone.
I mean being the goal line 3rd TE playing 12 snaps a month may be available but that’s as good as gone.
What are you talking about? Asiasi is not done. He was a rookie last year. Keene could be cut.

Man if we can get 2018 Cam, this is a SB contender.

the Patriot Way is winning. Didn't Bill say in the 2 Bills he will build a team by whatever means necessary? Thru the draft, thru FA?
If they have the cap space I prefer FA over the draft. You never know for sure what you're getting with draft picks.

I don't understand your thought process. They might not view him as a bust, and yet recognize that they have an opportunity to grab two very high level and proven TEs right now. If that pushes Asiasi down the depth chart, NE is fine with that, but that doesn't mean they view him as a bust. Your logic needs work.
You don’t go out and sign players that give a player you have faith in no chance to see the field.
A guy who does crap as a rookie and your team spends 25 mill a year to 2 players at his position rather than give him a chance to play us as busty as a bust gets.

Aye Gronk(Henry) and Hernandez(Smith) Lite

I think it is the other way around. Isn't Smith the bigger of the two, and the better blocker? Henry more resembles a big WR?

Edit: nope, apparently your first take is correct.

The problem is draft choices are younger and cheaper which is another reason I like that most of these guys are young.

Had we drafted Judon, Smith, Henry, Bourne, agholor, mills godshauk 3-5 years ago and just signed them to their second contracts, we would be raving about those draft classes.

Who woulda thunk they could build an offense that might even overcome the suck if newton at qb?

This is one hell of an offense to hand to the QB of the future that they draft in round 1 though. Perfectly set up for working through growing pains.
Don't forget the defense that should be able to carry some weight as well!

Surprised as hell that HH would sign in NE, considering that LA Chargers are an up-and-coming team with a stud QB...

If we get Jimmy G this team is a contender this year. Or if cam turned back the clock to 2018

Wow what a start to FA

Well, you say so, so it must be true!
