I would agree, in this market with so many teams close to the cap or even over, how many teams could or would afford that kind of salary?
We could, but we wouldn't.

Yes, good point Oceanizer, I've been hearing Corey Davis, Adam Humphries, Curtis Samuel a lot recently as players that we might target, which. means we won't go anywhere near them lol....but I agree to your point. That is why I start to think BB will not be eager to offer 4-5 years contract to any vet WRs. I am inclined to believe he will sign a middle level WR via FA and grab one or two WRs via draft.
The other one bites the dust too. Maybe the Super Bowl was a sign of what things are going to look like in KC going forward.
I wouldn't mind Everett for that Deal if we can't land Henry or Smith. I like the Samuel addition as well. I am not thrilled that Shelby Harris and Tomlinson land elsewhere in this projection.PFF listed an updated projection of their Top 50 free agents. They had the Pats signing 1 of the top 50, WR, Curtis Samuel.
Feels about right, even with ca room I expect them to be selective.

If Golladay doesn't want to come here, it's probably more due to uncertainty about who will be throwing him the ball and how that'll affect his numbers and career. Not that Tua or Jones have proven to be anything special so far, but they're both high picks with upside that you can sell someone on.You know what I find funny is that report about the theory that Golladay might not want to go to the Pats (assuming Pats have interest and make an offer) but then say Dolphins and Giants make sense.
So the guy doesn't want to go to the Pats because he was already on a team that tried to have Pats culture instilled in it but he would definitely be interested in the only other 2 teams that have Pats former assistants as head coaches.......

If he has a problem with the Patriots culture, doubt he goes to Dolphins or Giants either. If he has a problem with Patricia personally, agree that it's probably not a big hurdle to still come here.and I understand that if he went to a better QB situation but this theory was "Pats bad because Patricia was his head coach". Unless Patricia is returning to be the OC or WR coach I don't understand why that would be a hold up, if Pats gave him the best offer by $20m I doubt he's turning it down over a coach that would be off doing something else. The key for Golladay here would be Belichick, McDaniels and Lombardi.
I'd rather have Davlin Tomlinson anyway.Boo.
He's the guy I would have hunted hard with big $$$ if he hit FA. love his game.
