Belichick should trade the 1st rounder for Garoppolo

Jimmy will be cut, if SF pulls off a trade for a QB. Don't give up a 1st and don't pay that full contract. Just don't do it!

2019 Jimmy G in 16 starts ... 28 TD ... 13 giveaways

2020 Cam in 15 starts ... 21 TD ... 11 giveaways

Jimmy G had very slightly better stats in 2019 49ers Super Bowl run than Cam had in 2020

Making $100 million when you thought you'd be making $200 million is not a loss.
It is a loss when your 68000 seat stadium is empty for the season... No fans for football, soccer, concert, etc... That is a huge economic loss

take away the running tds, we need a qb who can throw to keep defenses honest.

Cam wasn't running because he couldn't throw

McD wasn't calling few pass plays because he was worried Cam can't pass ..

Team had no TE and no name WR's that's why

Can we trade Belichick for Dreamy Jimmy? Lynch likes him.

Apparently Garoppolo has a no trade clause in his contract so he would essentially have to sign off on wherever he would be traded. I also think Patriots fans are crazy if they think we are going to find a legitimate starting QB for less than $20 million a year. $20 million is even on the lower end for a starting QB.

It feels like more and more we are going to have Cam again.
Starting to look like in a game of musical chairs we may be left standing. What worries me is that they don't want to pay for a QB so they just go back to Cam. I am not even talking about paying as in trading, I am talking about paying a QB $20+ million a year and that worries me. They didn't want to pay Brady so what makes anyone think they will pay anyone else a starting QB salary in 2021?

I’m thinking it’s Mariota or Cam.
For some reason I’m not ruling out a Wentz Ertz package.

I think it is Cam, Mariota, or Stidham as the "we give up" guy. I just think Bill won't want to pay the going rate for an NFL starter. I also don't think he would want to pay Wentz and trade for him but honestly I am not sure if Wentz would want to come here. If he couldn't handle Doug Pederson I don't know how he would deal with Bill.

I understand you've got a woody for Cam, but he's damaged goods. We don't need someone back that skips 1 out of every 5 passes. I'd take someone with less mileage and accolades that has some upside. Cam peaked years ago, there's essentially no upside to him, poor or great receiving options.

This is one of those situations where I think it’s best for both parties to separate.
Cams value is very low he needs to rebuild that right now.
For us going from Tom to the shell of Cam was unbearable to watch.
I know if most fans are like me any one else behind center other than maybe Hoyer is a glimpse of hope.
We need that as Fans.
Seeing what’s been happening with Tatum I’m not shocked Cam was effected from Covid.

Cam will be MVP in 21 or he will lead NE to a Super Bowl win in 21 .. guaranteed

Can't wait to see the reaction here when Cam is playing MVP level football in a Pats uniform

Bill may not want to roll the dice and wait for Jimmy or a draft pick falling to them in round 1 so I see him going after Dalton or Fitzgerald as I'm sure he aspires to play for every AFC East team.

Tom wouldn't have won a Super Bowl this season if he was a Patriot

TB has an A roster ... NE has a C- roster .. its not that hard to see

You're mad Brady left? Why? He wouldn't have won anything on the 2020 Pats roster
