NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OFFICIAL Super Bowl Bucs/Chiefs Game Thread

worth repeating this again, this looks exactly like tampa's last SB. Oakland was totally out of sorts just like KC is.

Bucs about to win the super bowl on the backs of Patriots players. Keep trying to rationalize and defend the direction the Patriots decided to take. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Alabama!

The Patriots with no QB and no practice were trailing this very same Chiefs team by 3 points in the 4th quarter this year.

Says a lot.

Putting together a good, clock-eating grinding drive. That's going to gas KC.

Leftwhich and Bowles are calling incredible games. This is truly freaky

Tampa going to be scary next year too.
Wild. Tom’s gonna’ kick out asses under his six banners next season.

"His" six banners? Or the team's six banners?

Bucs have a lot of pending FAs. They'll need to have a good offseason in order to remain this talented.

I think TB is playing his best SP game tonight so far.

“Brady is the best anyone’s ever been at play action” Dr Zimmerman, veteran sports author, Sports Illustrated, 2004. He said Brady really really commits and sells it, and other QBs don’t.

because early on he HAD to commit to the details.....he wasn't as physically gifted as others, he committed to preparation , and he had the coach that also demanded that/focused on that.......to his credit, he never lost that commitment to detail

I hope they keep attacking that Chiefs secondary, particularly Breeland!
Fournette definitely wants to keep attacking Breeland

We had the defensive personnel to beat them and would have if our QB's didn't **** bricks on the bed.

Kinda depends on whether the media asks gotcha questions or whether the're actually engaging in football discussion. I expect Boston media to be its usual absolutely unbelievably hideously awful self, gotcha questions thick and fast, and the Patriots HC to close himself off as a result.

All you have to do to get good talk about of BB is to ask a quetstion relevant to football history or great players he's coached. If Boston media can't manage to do that (and I bet they can't) they should just turn in their press passes and start over with new writers.
They’ve been worse, like after Milloy was sent packing. I’m sure Bill can handle it.

The Chiefs' o-line/Bucs d-line are the biggest reasons for the score of this game. The Bucs offense is playing great, but the Bucs' d-line is not giving Mahomes any time to do anything on most plays.
It will get me boo-ed, but this Super Bowl reminds me of the Giants taking us down at 18-0 in terms of a defensive front taking over the game. Mahomes looks unsure of himself with all that pressure and I can't see him flicking a switch (but who knows...).

To think the Chiefs are 17-1 before this game if they didn't rest Mahomes in Week 17. And they are getting flattened by a team with five losses that hit their stride when it mattered.
