NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OFFICIAL NFC CHAMPIONSHIP THREAD - Buccaneers at Packers

Rodgers on Twitter in a couple hours: “Let the Jordan Love era begin. I’m out”

This game is officially stressing me out. I thought I was done being this invested in Tom anymore.
Me too...I live in FL and have been fringe Bucs fan because they are NFC and never competition for us ....but feels like home game because of Brady and Gronk ....happy for them....but damn took a toll on me!

How was it dumb ?
Not necessarily a dumb move for letting Brady go. It was dumb for not having a viable backup plan at QB b4 letting him go.

They made their decision years ago and the results were damned good.

7-9 and missing the playoffs for the first time Ever in like 18 years are damned good results? Meanwhile the Bucs goto the Superbowl under the leadership of Tom Brady! Yeah... BB's defenders are everywhere! I'm sorry you just can't defend these results! BB Cost the Pats a 7th Superbowl BTW by BENCHING Malcolm Butler for the entire EFFING game for no damn good reason while the secondary was getting TORCHED all Day long!!!

BB is a genius but he can't win with TRASH at QB. And he lets PRIDE get in the way too often. Do you DENY that BB forced Gronk into retirement and banned Brady's personal trainer just cos he 'didn't like him' for whatever reason?

Right now we are getting to see now how CRITICAL Tommy really was to all those Championship teams. Tampa Bay fans are certainly celebrating their first Superbowl Appearance in 19 years after being an NFL playoff DOORMAT!!

Honestly I would a preferred to let thuney and the McCourty go and resign Brady

Difficult to have one with no cap space in a clean up year but I get your point now.

Because the media morons need to generate storylines so whenever Rodgers has a hot year or couple games they bring him up, even though he is not even remotely in the discussion.
rodgers has no wins, no losses in his career....neither did tom brady

jesus guys, brady is the GOAT, that hasn't been in doubt in my mind since around 2008 or so.......but it's ok what we've lived in an era of great QB's......i mean, **** the forehead, but it's ok that rodgers is a top 10sih all time QB.......i don't get the rodgers hate, it's like some here are threatened that there are other great QB's out there lol

have we always been this bad?

Rogers not running it in on the goal line was the wussiest thing I've seen in a long time, multiple 12 men on the field penalties by GB on third downs killed them... the D coordinator should be canned.

Great team win by the Bucs, all three phases played well.

Packers should be angry at themselves for kicking that field goal. I don’t know what analytics say, but everyone knew that was the game.

The TD at the end of the first half was a go for the jugular move - like the TD to Dorsett vs KC

They wouldn’t have done crap with Brady this year. They would have had to cut 2 or 3 good players just to stay under the salary cap.

They made their decision years ago and the results were damned good.
They should have given him the contract till 45 when they could.

They had cap space, they decide to use 30M of it on Thuney and the McCourty

I dont get what the point of y'all is. Would you have preferred for Brady to stay in NE and watch the playoffs on tv ?

At some point I'd love to hear about how exactly we should have built around him this year if he stayed with a 25m/32m cap hit.

You sign him for 3 years at the end of 18 and you could have him for 20

Andy hart Twitter banner is Brady and the guy is crying on the last call because GB lost! The Boston media are awful!
I used to like him. He has never been a fan Brady off the field but he has been pretty fair. But he has turned into a typical moronic Brady hater in the last couple of weeks...

I didn't understand that call at all
Me neither but hey I didn’t understand the play call on the 3 INT drive so in the end, I’ll call it even
