Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Jets

JJ Williams had a pretty solid game. I liked his pass breakup, and also how willing he was to come up and hit. Solid stuff.

Sony with the breakout receiving game? This is how I thought they'd use him all along, as a bigger James White who can also run between the tackles. Harris and Michel should be a great 1-2 punch next season.

We finally threw to the TEs. Heh. I still think they have potential.

I’m less concerned with picking 10 or 15. I’m more terrified that we make a bust offensive pick from clueless evaluators than going with what we’re good at evaluating which would be going DE or DT or LB or FS. Just don’t go offense in the first round. At all. Would be like burning the pick listening to our OC or current support staff.

Losing a game never makes you better.
Losing the last game of the season doesn’t matter unless you’re in the playoffs but 5 spots do matter in the 1st round. Winning it doesn’t make you any better. I find it odd how people laugh at losing 5 spots in the 1st round. This is why you guys don’t care about Belichick drafting horribly.

Barring a trade up, same here.

It’s amazing the lengths people will go to glorify losing. These are probably the same people who were calling for a loss in 2003 because it as winning too many in a row is too hard to do.

DaBruinz, you can laugh all you want, but 10 to 15 is huge in the 1st round. Maybe you can join Belichick in not thinking the draft is a big deal.
@DaBruinz is correct to laugh and I am hoping he soon unleashes one of his patented rants on those who whine about 5 slots in a draft. A draft. A selection of unproven youngsters from (literally it seemed in 2020) the basement of a mom’s house with the help of a dog.

7-9?! Wow, what a performance overcoming a dumpster fire roster the damn GM created for our do no wrong genius Head Coach!
Oh wait...

Who was picked #15 in the past 10 drafts? You mean to tell me they can't get an impact player there? I'm looking defense first. Plenty of veteran QBs out there to pick up. This team has too many holes to fill. Keep the picks. Draft smart.

Winners play to win. Losers look for positives in losing.

They couldn't have moved up to 10 with Dallas losing. The best the Patriots could have gotten with a loss is 11 if the Chargers beat KC and the Broncos beat Las Vegas.

Can’t wait to go 7-9 next year. Can’t wait till bill trades down to get more draft picks. I think bill will acquire some players but i don’t expect anything big.

Haven't see many of the Sony haters here for the past few games.

He was decent this year It's just a shame that the running back roll really isn't that important on this team especially when you can just do a running back by committee and get the same results in most cases.

Ok so root for kc and LV today so this win doesn’t look as bad draft position wise.
