That’s only because Stidham hasn’t played yet or he would be above Cam on this list. . I guess some people can’t wait to see how his 51 passer rating, 54% completion rate, 6 YPA, 10% int rate plays out in the NFL over 16 games. Hard pass from me.

There's gotta be something behind the scenes we don't see. I don't buy into the fact that they don't want to throw Stid to the wolves with the lack of talent at WR and TE. If I had to made an uneducated guess, he's not grasping something. He's careless with reads, not doing the film study, not working on ... something.

If I had to made an uneducated guess, he's not grasping something. He's careless with reads, not doing the film study, not working on ... something.

These last 2 games are meaningless. If the Pats win them both, they'll end up picking 15th. If they lose them, they have a shot at picking in the top 10.

He hasn’t played enough or in proper situation to evaluate. Maybe he would be worse than newton, as hard as that would be, but you simply cannot determine that from a handful of garbage time snaps.
The Newton line is so low he would have to crap his pants to be worse. We would have had a better season with at least 20 backups from other teams.

If he doesn't believe in Stidham, how is starting him in the team's best interest? If the goal is for him to be cut he has enough info. If the plan is for him to be a back up, he's been a back up and Bill has enough info.

Sure he has. Every single one of his games have been forgettable or complete crap. Every one.

If he’s not very good in garbage time when the defense has let their foot off the gas then how good can he be in meaningful situations? Jimmy was very good in his garbage time appearance in KC and he proved himself in 2016, when will Stidham have that moment if he’s so great? I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting.

Time to send him to the cfl where he is a better fit.

Listing reasons why Cam isn’t the answer doesn’t make Stidham the answer. Stidham has yet to go on a field and have a better performance than Cam. The Chargers game was his only good game. He threw three pass attempts in a game we were already shutting the opposing team and Cam scored 3 TD’s.

The other misconceptions is that Belichick needs to find out something he already knows. After two off seasons, practicing with him every week, constantly evaluating him, putting him in pre season games, and and giving him love game time multiple times.... coaches know what kinda player you are. There’s nothing to find out for him.

Worse from a certain point of view. Cam is not a contrarian. Play wise, based on the importance of the position, I agree with you.

Meyers proved himself when he got the chance. I’m not convinced he’s special just yet but he proved he is worth keeping around.

Stidham didn’t. He was demoted from QB1 to 3 entering the season. Wasn’t even good enough to finish ahead of Hoyer. Nuff said.

He didn't play well when he came in last year. Then this year he got opportunities when he go minimal playing time and Bill reasonable elevated his role as he showed he could assume more responsibility. Stidham has not done that. Meyers did what Stidham should have done if he wanted to be a starter.
