How to lose to the Jets in week 17

I’d rather see Lawrence go to NYJ and go 0-16. Better still, go 0-16 and Lawrence is so disgusted that he either returns to Clemson or pulls a reverse Eli...

Already has said he won't do that. So by Bill not seizing the opportunity in the first game to lose to the Jets, he will have to live with that decisionsas he lives in treadmill land. They lose today, they are a treadmill team. Hell if they win today, they are a treadmill team.

He’s intentionally lost a game in the past when it benefited the team.
I could see him doing it again.
If he does, I hope it’s blatant, maybe give Dolegala a look . Lol
No he has not.

Which game did he lose intentionally? 2005 week 17 is the only borderline one i could think of but again very borderline to assume he lost anthing intentionally.

I really think the thought has crossed Bill’s mind and unless by some miracle we’re in playoff contention after next Sunday I think it’s more and more probable he’s going to pull the trigger on doing whatever it takes to keep Lawrence out of the AFCE. Normally I’d say no way Bill does this but it’s the Jets and we know how he feels about them.

Start by resting players who would help us win. Preseason offense all the way. I’m also thinking experimenting with a no punt offense could be fun to watch. Go for every single 4th down! What are your creative ideas? Lol

The Jest lovers at 345 Park Ave would be livid but I think there will be enough plausible deniability to pull it off.
No, the Jete must go 0-16 en route to ruining whoever they draft No. 1.

Imagine someone thinking like this.

Why? He has a supposed hatred for the Jete organization no? Well, when the Jete went up 10 or 14 whatever it was, he had a golden goose opportunity to screw them over, and help his team in the process. Instead he arrogantly won that game in a season that wins were something to shy away from.

I can't even imagine what it is like to be someone like you, who puts wins in a useless year over the long term health and wellness of the franchise. You are probably same type of clown who hated the Colts losing but then danced all over when they grabbed Luck.

You have clearly never played a competitive team sport in your life.
Golden opportunity to lose. Jesus.

There are no sports outside of pros were you rely on being bad to get a high draft pick. I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand that. That just blew up your whole premise.

Why does everyone think the Pats would need some radical new scheme to lose to the Jets?

BB playing 4D chess again. That's why we haven't seen Stidham yet. The play is to keep rolling (down hill) with Cam.

Jets could pick up a win against the Rams tonight. I was thinking we should try to throw the last game. 6-10 puts us around 10-15 range depending on how things shake out with other teams. Can definitely get a very good player in there. Taking away Lawrence from the Jets would be beautiful.

Exactly!

We might not need to! Just kidding - I know the Jets are just trolling being up 13-3 against the Rams at halftime.

I am wondering how the jets will manage to lose this game.

They even suck at tanking.

Play Hart Lee Dykes at WR.
Wait. Even in retirement he may produce more than N’Keal Harry.

The Jets are competing with Jacksonville. They'll be purposely fumbling at the goal line and playing dime against our run offense, on purpose.

I'm really hoping we throw it 55 times during that game - stoppable force meets movable object. Maybe Meyers can break Brandon Marshall's receptions in a game record of 21... and still not score a TD.

No, it doesn’t at all.

I probably won’t watch much next week. Definitely watching in week 17 though. Should be a hoot seeing them try to out-suck the other.

He didn’t. Losers like to find value in losing. They are the only people who suggest things like this. It makes them feel better about themselves.
