Eh, I don't know about that. Mike has been really injured. I believe Brady has thrown the most TDs to him but defenses have schemed to take him away. I don't have any explanation for last night except for a great defensive scheme from NO and no adjustment from Tampa.
The explanation is simple. New Orleans was killing them up front with stunts and twists and Tampa kept stressing vertical route concepts. Then they got down big and needed those routes for quick strikes to get back into it, but Brady was still getting dry humped because they couldn’t counter those stunts and twists up front. It’s the same way a defense has always beaten Brady - press man, don’t blitz, rely heavily on stunts and winning at the point of attack.

Lattimore always gives Evans an issue. Seems to just be one of those matchups he cant win.

It's like Ice keeps saying, they really need a passing catching RB.

That’s why they got Fournette but he’s behind on the depth chart. The only reason I can think of is that he might be having trouble picking up the playbook, but that’s a complete guess on my part.

Really the only silver lining here is that the new playoff format makes the result a little less devastating. Sure, the Saints or Bucs had a chance at the #1 seed, but chances are they’re both playing wild card weekend and needing to win 4 playoff games. Add in the limited HFA with Covid and you’re not talking about the same type of monumental disadvantage as last year. But the Bucs are going nowhere.

My guess is they fire Arians and hire McDaniels next season. Not that I think Josh is a great coach, but I just expect this to happen.

They’re exactly what we thought they’d be, only more talented (league leading DVOA by a wide margin.) They’re a typical Arians boom-or-bust team. Look no further than their results against Green Bay and New Orleans. To have three absolute blowouts when facing other strong teams isn’t a fluke but the quintessential Bruce Arians experience.
I think the problem here is that if Arians is gone, basically the entire coaching staff is going to go with him. It's the most extreme "good old boys" staff in the league.

The AHC, OC, DC, STC, QB coach, RB coach, WR coach, TE coach, OL coach, offensive assistant, offensive consultant, OLB coach, ILB coach, CB coach, S coach, assistant to the head coach, and head strength coach all coached or played for Arians elsewhere. The assistant DL coach was a student at Temple when Arians was there, but she obviously didn't play for him. The DL coach and defensive quality control coach worked for Bowles with the Jets. An assistant strength coach worked for the head strength coach at Mississippi State, and the specialists coach was working there too. One D/ST assistant played a year for the ST coordinator. The other D/ST assistant's father worked with Arians.

I believe that leaves the offensive quality control coach, John Van Dam, as the only on-field coach without a clear one or two-step connection to Arians. The best I can find there is that he backed up Drew Stanton at Michigan State and then Stanton spent 2012-2017 with Arians.

I was wondering how long it would take this fat old blowhard to start finger pointing.

I know Bill has let his lips loose recently but BA is a joke. NO owns him. And not for nothing but this is what you say to Leftwich behind closed doors if he has any ballz, not the media. Leftwich has been awful at times this year.

You have Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk, Miller ... And you're struggling to get the ball to your RB at times.

BA should be throwing rose petals in front of Brady bc that's the only way this works. BA, you're not a genius. Some big time innovator. You have a good offense but are not the star of the show here.

Shots of Arians on the sidelines looks like how Wade Phillips constantly looked like with the Cowboys - always confused.

They both remind me of the Coach in "The Waterboy" where his plays didn't work after Henry Winkler's character counters his own stolen plays.

And what's with that box here's wearing?

Is he wrong, though?

Don't mean to be snarky, I legitimately haven't watched the film.

It seems perfectly possible that he's right. Only way to know is to watch.

BA could be right and wrong. Evans could be open, but if it took longer than Brady had time to throw, than he is essentially not open. Don't get me wrong, Evans is a great receiver, I think he is a top 5 type, but he struggled with the two fades in the endzone. Where the fades Brady's fault? Commonly it is not clear cut like BA always seems to indicate.

OCCAM'S RAZOR...it's the head coach

They really shouldve not abandoned the run completely. Brady's game is the short inside passing game with quick throws especialy vs a oline which cant hold itself . We saw that a lot over 20 yrs. Yet Arians wants him to drop back and try and throw deep down the field with the pocket collapsing.

That's the thought that came to my mind every single time he was in the screen - CONFUSED! He looked absolutely out of his league and outclassed by a better coach. Simple as that.

If it takes a receiver seven seconds or more to run a route but the pocket is collapsing in two to three seconds... do the math, BA.

To Buc fans flooding the great fans of NE website, we are not buying the hype. We love TB and BB in NO, everyone knows that, and we have supported NE in every SuperBowl when most did not.
Don't forget we are a very good football team with a great coach.
Brees is 5-2 vs Brady, he doesn't suck or is a midget with a noodle arm, as you always say. Good luck taking this division from us

Why would Arians lie when everyone can watch the same film? It would undermine his own credibility if he was making stuff up.

look at Evans targets and receptions vs Lattimore the last 2 years I guarantee he wasn’t open like that clown says he was

I don’t get why they won’t sit Godwin till the finger is healed
