After watching San Fran run through our defense all game long, maybe bb needs to invest in some defensive line beef.

Don't know why Dallas is quitting on the season so soon...That division is All-Time Horrible, and I think the Pfecals are due for another stumble before season's end...
I don’t think they are quitting in the season I think they are dumping slugs and expecting addition by subtraction.

Probably because they don't have a QB. Prescott is done until December at the earliest.. He may be done for the year. Dalton just suffered a major concussion. So they are left with Ben Denucci as their starter, Garret Gilbert as their back-up and are signing Cooper Rush to their PS.

Their O-line has taken some massive hits this year. They lost a fantastic center in Trevor Frederick, who retired. Both starting Tackles are out currently with Collins unlikely to return this season.

Without a solid O-line or a viable QB, That offense isn't go to do much of anything.

So, it's not surprising that they let Poe and Worley go.

In all honesty, if Dallas came knocking about Andrews, I'd definitely be listening. He'd help right that O-line. Hell, if they offered a 2nd for Cam and Andrews, I'd take it.. Not because I hate Andrews, but because it would be a good situation for him to go to.

This is something that is a must since Butler is a UFA at the end of the season. I can easily see BB going after one of the better all-around DTs in the draft over say a QB..

I don’t believe the Pats have any chance in the Trevor sweepstakes unless they lose out. That leaves Fields, who I’m not too excited about. I’ll admit I’m not a prospect guru, but his lack of experience and the results of Haskins have me a little gun shy. After that, you’ve got guys like Lance and Trask, who might not be terrible picks, but look like guys that are gonna need some development time. That leaves the Pats with picking one of BGC’s 2nd tier guys and bringing in a veteran to play for a while. Unless they incredibly lucky, it’s gonna be a while before they a real solid qb. Do they need one though? A really solid game manager that slowly moves the chains but avoids turnovers might be all they need.

TL;DR-Completely agree with you. Bill will go front 7 or OL at the top of the draft before he ever spends it on a QB.

If they can get a "solid game manager" who slowly moves the chains in the passing game while relying on the good stable of RBs we have I'm all for it.

If they can keep this O-line from any more fluke injuries, it has the talent to be the best O-line we've put out there since Hannah and Gray were playing. And I was a big supporter of the O-line that had Light, Neal, Andruzzi, Koppen (insert RT) .. I have said it before that I think the O-line of Wynn, Onwenu, Thuney, Mason, and Herron/Eluemenor gives the team the best O-line for running the ball. Having Andrews at Center with Onwenu at RT isn't as much of a step backwards as I thought. I only saw one bad play by Onwenu against the 49ers. Otherwise, he was as good at RT as he was at LG.

I stopped trying to do prospect evaluation years ago because I realized just how much information we don't get that plays into how teams view players. I do rely on BGC and others in the draft forum.
