Why? lol. It’s counter intuitive. Our receivers suck and there is no threat there. Just play normal coverage and eventually you’ll force Cam to throw

Because the play would just be over immediately, as opposed to waiting 4-5 seconds. Just get it over that much quicker..makes perfect sense..

No he’s just smart. Let me school some of you up. Our receivers suck. They are barely open. It doesn’t help that Cam had some bad misses when they miraculously did a couple times. But at least teams are respecting Cam enough as a run threat.

It’s really more that he’s not in rhythm and that’s largely because guys aren’t getting open. When it’s a surprise that a guy got some separation your QB isn’t going to be sharp all night. Brady used to start games spamming Edelman or Welker just for the sake of that
