I hate to say it and I know he will never do it, but Belichick should think about packing in the season and trying to position the Pats to load up next year. Play Stidham and see is he is worth anything as a starter or at least a back up. Trade Tuney and get what you can. Trade Cam if you can get anything for him. They can still be in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.
Plus the Pats are going to be flush with cap space next year which is the except and not the rule. If the cap is contracted the way many think, there will be a lot of good free agent talent next year.
I know this will never happen. It isn't in Belichick's DNA, but this season could be a disaster for the league come the winter anyway with COVID. This is the perfect year to tank and rebuild.
Gilmore got a huge raise this year. Does it make any sense to trade him financially? Next year I think he becomes easy to move but this year its just sunk cash.
I want this season to be over. We need a QB, A TE and several WR's. That is a 2-3 year re build ! and I have finally had it with Josh and his atrocious play calling. I really think Brady made him look better.
