Great idea by BB to send the team home Friday. Not like they needed the practice or anything.
They had no choice because of the positive Covid test to Ferentz.

Collinsworth is a perennial loser for a reason.

I totally understand your point. I just can't wrap my head around it.

Teams down by two scores PLAY for two scores. Alright. Ok? Well teams down by one score play for ONE SCORE? ALRIGHT, cool.

Putting your self down two scores when you have a high % chipshot point after that makes it a one score game and thus makes getting ONE TOUCHDOWN and a TWO POINTER conversion makes no sense.

GOING for it and MISSING it means you NOW have to get that SAME touchdown PLUS a FG. meaning not ONE but TWO possessions.

You're stuck on this going for 2 with 8 minutes left thing because it leaves you time to correct a failed attempt. Yes. It leaves you time to correct the failed attempt but only if you get two stops AND score on BOTH your ensuing possessions.

My way leaves you with ONE less oppertunity but also with only ONE possession to make it happen. Failing your two point conversion with 8inutes left has literally nothing to do with failing with 15 seconds left. They don't affect either.

I feel confident you understand my position now very clearly and it's not matter of understanding it and simply matter of disagreeing with it so I'm gonna leave it at that. Later.
Reiss wrote an article agreeing with me. Perhaps you can understand it with his words.

Well I’m glad the crazies are back

Patriot's fans are pleased about the compensatory picks they have received the past
few years. Unfortunately, each of them represents a starting player who has been lost
and replaced with a lesser player.

Saying that Zuber looked better because he was uncovered on a ZONE play is just silly.

Claiming that Harry can only catch a ball once in awhile is also silly. Harry hasn't shown to have the drops like Edelman. Harry was open 3 times yesterday. Cam went to him once on the final play and Cam flat out missed. Yes, Cam was under-pressure, but those are the throws he's made a name for himself on.

Saying that Harry disappeared just doesn't make sense when you look at how the game went down. Harry was very much involved in the running game, which was the game plan until the 4th quarter. That's when they started opening things up with the pass more.
Your last few sentences pretty much sum up my point. I feel like we paid a premium on an excellent run blocking wr who makes a catch once and awhile. Blocking for 3 quarters and only emerging in the 4th in a do or die situation pretty much highlights that. I don't recall many games Brady or Cam where he did much more than that (sometimes sprinkling him in with reverses...)

Perhaps the Zubber comparison was more of an emotional/knee jerk post but Zubber has been making 1 or 2 plays a game. Usually first downs too. It is a bit frustrating to see..when you consider everything.

As stated, haven't given up on Harry yet. I understand he was Raw.. I understand the game plan has shifted but at what point do you start thinking...well maybe hes not what I thought? After this last week, im starting to have a little doubt...the hope still out weights the doubt...but its starting to get hard to defend..not just based on yesterday but everything in totality.

I'm hopeful we can get back to the pointof where he was at vs the Seahawks. That game I started to see some of the "Hes getting it..." Vibe. Outside of that and a diving catch that didn't count and a TD called NON TD vs the Chiefs...I'm left wanting more. I don't think that makes me an unreasonable, not knowledgeable troll of any sort. Just as invested in the team as you (unless your last name is Kraft in which case...flame me all you want)

SMH.
Really? Sony is the worst starting RB in the league?

26 attempts for 173 yards - 6.65 YPC YEP.. That just SUCKS. OH.. Wait.. umm..

This team purposely uses RB by committee to spread things out and try and keep opponents guessing. That's the COACHES game planning.

I'll agree regarding Izzo.

So, just how many "skill" players has BB drafted in "recent" years? Because, in comparison to teams like the Steelers and Chargers, BB drafts about half the number they do, instead focusing on the trenches and DBs.

The YPC also say a lot about our OL. Look at the Broncos of 10-20 years ago.
They plugged and played many different back who got 1,000+ yards.
Then they traded the player, and they flopped on their next team because they did not have the Broncos OL.
Do you remember Olandis Gary ?

How about our receivers?

Who has worse receivers than the Patriots????

#1 - Edelman? I love Edelman, but age, and injuries, he is not the player he was in the past.
#2 - Harry - so far he still has the bust tag.
#3 - Byrd - this guy a starter, say tons about our WR talent.

ITT no one understands football except for “DaBruins” or Bruins or whatever account he’s posting from.
Last year I was critical of Ghost when he was missing many kicks.
I got the rath of DaBruins... lol
The following week - Ghostkowski got cut.
:)

Name a team with a worse starting RB than Sony Michel, other than the Jets who just cut Bell. I would still take 37 year old Frank Gore, but the jets are debateqbke.

While your at it.
Name a worse starting TE than Izzo.
Name a receiver core worse than the Patriots?

Who has worse starters than.....
Edelman - warrior who is long in the tooth.
Injuries, Father Time, and Drops hurt Jules.
Harry - still carrying the bust tag.
Byrd - This guy a starter?

You missed the joke.

Rewatched the first half and focused on Herron and Onwenu.

Herron: Thought he did a pretty solid job at LT even though his technique is not the prettiest. Did not see an instance where he got blatantly beat. Adds some strength and takes some yoga we might have something here.

Onwenu: BEAST when playing at guard. Exposed a bit by speed when moved out to tackle. Team OL health permitting, keep this man at Guard and let him tear $$&t up.

Even when I agree with him I don't like him. You ran out of the back of the end zone. As far as I am concerned that alone forfeits your right to ever critique another football player (that and saying "prax").

I'm finally going to get a chance to watch the game today. I've been super busy.

DaBruinz doing some “I haven’t had sex with a living woman in a very long time” rage posting.
Well if true then next one up is a lucky lady-just let him do all the work

In my case, I get extra grumpy after multiple losses. Kraft once got so mad he replaced our grass with FieldTurf.

Obviously, I have no idea what would make him restore our real helmets and jerseys or I would have done it already, naturally.
