After the depressing Pats game, it brought joy to my heart to see Saint Aaron humiliated. Once again we are reminded that no matter how good the QB a very strong pass rush, ESPECIALLY right up the middle, results in poor QB performance.

Once you have to play make believe to support your thesis, that shows you have a very weak thesis. And it is weaksauce to blame Covid for the actions on the field. Tennessee had Covid troubles and whupped a very good Buffalo team. NE played an extremely weak Denver team who tried to give the game away, and NE still couldn’t take advantage.

I have never seen this many excuses for Pats losses as I do this year. The Patriots were HELPED by not playing last Sunday. They got BOTH Newton and Gilmore back. They have 2 weeks to prepare so they had their bye week. They got punched in the mouth by a tenacious Denver D.

The best part of the game yesterday was when Aikman said Suh poked the bear when he jawed with Rodgers at the end of the half and that he fully expected Rodgers to come out and light it up. Then the camera pans to Rodgers on the sideline in the third quarter and he has his arms spread sitting on the sideline with that daydream look on his face most likely thinking about the bottle of scotch he was going to have after the game.

As a player, they are not at all similar.

Rodgers is like Steve Young but not as good. What Young did statistically for his time is more impressive than what Rodgers has done statistically for his.

Brady is like Joe Montana but better. Both are basically flawless.
