Also gotta say I actually liked maholmes before tonight. But that pu*** flopping sh** is hideous. Karmas a b though one day you really will get drilled and I won’t feel bad.

the team was dealt a bad hand. cam out, all other team members constantly getting tested since last two weeks, still not out the woods yet and they need to go back to their family, fly same day and play the game . Surely takes a toll. i am sure of mahomes was found covid +ve the nfl wouldve postponed the game. no way they shouldve played today IMO. not saying it wouldve changed the result but it didnt help.

This team was extremely competent at all levels with the Chiefs except for the QB position, which was to be expected. However, the talent difference between Newton and his back ups is so large that it determined the outcome.
Frankly, I came off this game with a feel of confidence about this team for the rest of the season. We are talented. We are very tough. We are well coached. Above all, we are executing very good multi-directional offense. We will soon start winning battles against some of the better teams on schedule.

What the hell is going on in here? I got home, was ready to read some good stuff in here, and instead it's people fighting lol. Shut up and stop.

Anyway, I liked what I saw a lot with the O-Line. Mason and Andrews were out, and we still did pretty well all things considered.

We might have the worst backup QB's in the league lmao, that **** was comically bad. I was glad with the Cam signing, this game made me nearly sweat thinking we could've gone into the season with these jokes. God. That would've been terrible.

Harris looked good. And big. Didn't realize he was that tall.

Hoyer is slower on the run than Brady, somehow.

Byrd has developed nicely. Harry seems to be more confident.

I like this team. I'm pissed Cam couldn't have been there.

Defense looked solid and so did OL and running game.

But besides QB, as I have stated before, the WR's and TE's on this team are way below average. This team is not a serious contender with their current lack of offensive talent. Also Cam looked sensational in one game, but looked very mediocre in another. Cam is likely going to have his ups and downs this year.
So lets be honest.....can they make the playoffs...possibly. Are they a legitimate AFC Championship contender...No way.

Not enough offense playmakers.

Kontra,

With Cam out next week, who do you start against Denver, a very winnable game..I would probably lean towards Hoyer, but wouldn't be shocked either way.

Stidham or Hoyer. That’s like picking Natty light or keystone light ....yuck!

Through 4 games, the pats have a league average run defense with 4.4 ypc & 114 ypg despite:
  • NT on IR
  • Hightower opting out
  • Van Noy, Collins & Roberts leaving in FA
  • playing dime defense more than any other team
Cowart can play. Guy steady as usual. Wise is breaking out in a contract year. Winovich is the star of the defense.

The pats personnel begged the Chiefs to run the ball & they still couldn't. This DL could've been a disaster but multiple young players are capitalizing on the opportunity. Uche & Jennings have barely played as well.

Jacobs & Helaire contained. The front should improve & is one of the silver linings so far this season.

Chase Wino is a studdd..like a prime clay Matthews

When you have a solid defense and a dominant running game yes you are an AFC contender, and a legitimate one.

your other nut would finally drop if you ever rean into me, pi$$boy...you're a POS troll whose "opinions" are that of a complete MORON. FOAD
Haha pathetic in every post you make girly man. Go learn football, then learn how to not be a mental so you can function in society. Then you can talk to me.

Off to my ignore list.

I'm devastated. Ignored by a nutless POS. Oh well....life goes on.:cool::cool::cool:

Just like last year

And in the AFCCG...their go ahead TD drive was almost entirely off of yards gifted by the refs. Fortunately, TFB and BB would not be denied...but it wasn't for lack of effort by the league.

That fumble by mahomes just bothers me. This is football and that's always been a fumble. Does it hurt to let that particular play play out? It's sad how much sway these refs have on a game.

Didn't really pay attention, was it an accidental whistle or did the ref just (literally) blow it?

he blew his whistle signaling mahomes was in the grasp but it's such a bang bang play. When I think in the grasp, I think, player is mobbed by several opponents fighting to bring him down. I think of a player being held up. Mahomes was trying to make a play while being tackled. That's a football play.

It's almost like, if there's any danger to mahomes losing the ball, the refs are right there to blow the whistle right away. It's disgusting.

postgame... Ref said the whistle was blown for grasp and control, not reviewable

and of course the guy corrente is defending his decision saying it was for safety reasons. bs, this is football and I didn't see anything there that put mahomes in serious peril.

Cut Hoyer, the guy can only throw slants accurately. He sailed almost everything else this game.

Stidham is definitely an interception machine. But he still can make better throws and at least put some points on the board. Also, putting him down 16 points probably wasn't the best starting point. Wish we had rolled with him from the start, I dont think it could have been worse than what hoyer managed.

I have never been a Hoyer fan, he just supported my position. He has been a POS as a QB and continues the same.
