Why does 1st round pick Sony Michel play like a jag?

What's funny is that triggers you even though I said with that aside I was glad to see Sony provide us with the plays that he did. I'll take those 38 and 48 run yard runs all day to take pressure off of the passing game.
He has a meltdown if anyone disagrees with him.

Can someone explain to me why people think so much more of Burkhead than Michel? Their YPC are basically the same but Sony gets about double the amount of carries. A lot of people seem to think that Burkhead would've scored on the two long runs from Sony, but Rex doesn't even have a 40+ yard carry in his whole career.
I get that Sony isn't the first round talent RB that many hoped he'd be, but just because Rex has about 2 runs for 7 yards per game and catches a bunch of screens, doesn't exactly make him Barry Sanders.

The fact that you think Morrow jogged is proof why your opinion is garbage. Seriously..

P.S. Rainmaker, you can laugh all you want, but those who haven't blocked you keep you around because your opinions are so laughable. You actually make Captain Stone look like Einstein and Deus look humble.
You were this angry at 1:34 in the morning?

Simple...because he’s DA BURKMEISTER & Sony’s not..

He's returning punts.
Yeah and that's been an adventure for him too...

I'm not suggesting that Byrd be cut or anything; I am suggesting however that his spot on the WR depth chart needs to be upgraded.

One is a scrappy overachieving role player who when healthy is a solid contributor. The other is a first round pick who was expected to be one of the better backs in the league but didn't record a single 100 yard game in year two and by year three is losing carries to an UDFA.

Sony is a better open field runner than Burkhead. When the team is in the Red Zone, there is not a lot of open field as there are 22 players within 10 or 20 yards. Burkhead is better than Sony, and the other RBs (Maybe Taylor can work in a phonebooth and will replace Burkhead next year?), in close quarters with his cuts and twists and such. Similar to Dion Lewis. Note that Dion was not an every down back in TN (yes I know TN has other RBs), and it is questionable if he lived up to his big contract $$s that BB would not match.

I am not sure I saw people saying Burkhead would have scored on Sony's long runs, but that is highly unlikely as Burkhead is not a fast open field runner, as you note Rex does not have a carry over 40+ yards.

Some people always have to complain, they cannot help themselves. Even when they try to be positive, the positive vibes are usually conditional. They call it being realistic ;). Just accept it for what it is, and smile :).
