I started following the Patriots in 1960 and have witnessed the good, bad, and ugly.
I had season tickets for the second time from 2011 to 2018. These were the golden
years for the Patriots thanks to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Brady left because he
had a chance to play with a team with much better offensive tools. It looks as if he
made the right decision because the Patriots did little to upgrade the wide receiver
and tight end positions.
Great and this has what to do with this thread. You are embarrassing.

Win the MVP and the SB.

The thought of Brady fans being butt hurt if Brady fails outside of NE warms my heart. Otherwise I wish him good health.

It really is bugging me today seeing all the idiots saying “SEE, BRADY WAS A SYSTEM QUARTERBACK ALL ALONG”

All else aside, it makes absolutely 0 sense to evaluate someone’s career based off of their age 43 season.

It’s kinda funny because it’s cutting their nose to spite their face. Brady being the GOAT meant the Patriots franchise had the GOAT (because let’s be real, he wasn’t going to accomplish a fraction of what he did here in Tampa) so the narrative changing just hurts the Patriots lineage. It’s why Niner’s fans held onto Montana so long

Well yeah these aren’t patriots fans that I’m seeing saying this. The same pats hating people that have annoyed me forever :)
Just looking to discredit Tom

I can't and won't blame Tom for wanting to play while he can even at a diminished level. There are 32 Starting QBs and he can play while he is better or equal to say the top 20. What got me was the pouting and the hissy fits he was having. It was unseemly. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to public criticism from Bruce Arians. Will his dad be giving interviews or Giselle calling meetings with the owner?

you build from the inside out...seems Arians is ignorant of this axiom. That line is sub-par to say the least

Well... never would have thought I'd say this... but after watching Cam play for the Pats... and then watching Brady wearing a Bucs uni...

...it turns out (as it says on my profile, but I never really believed it until now)...

...I do actually root for the laundry. ;) LOL

I read somewhere that you can get 22 Cam Newton for 1 Tom Brady from a salary perspective. From what i saw yesterday Cam was the bettter QB .

During most of the offseason I was oscillating between "be irrelevant" and "play well and have fun", but after his "football is fun again" remark, which in turn reminded me of his pouting and overall bad attitude last season, I ultimately came down on "struggle and realize his career is over".

Brady belongs on the pantheon of Boston sports legends, right next to Russell, Ted Williams, and Bobby Orr. However, I did cheer when he threw that pick-6. It also looks like Gronk can't get open on that seam route anymore.

Win the MVP, SB and SB MVP.

Play well and have fun sounds about right.
There is no harm in TB12 posting respectable stats i.e. yardage, TD:INT rate, completion % and stuff. But if I root for him in the playoffs, it's still unsettled, we'll see in Dec.

It felt like watching Pierce in a brooklyn jersey or Michael Jordan in a wizards jersey.
