For the "Brady made Belichick" crowd

Thought I'd be rooting for him but when it came time to watch, I'm rooting hard as heck for the Saints :(

Early to conclude obviously, but looking alot like 2019 Tom , if not worse. So it wasn't just the weapons that were subpar last year if that persisst.

I missed this thread but all I have to say is if you think a Coach can have a system turn a player into a GOAT than you’re a complete and utter foo who should stop watching sports

BB is so smart to make someone a GOAT but not smart enough to just get different guys at minimum salaries every year so you could stack the team

1. I look forward to this thread being active all season long. A good foil to the Tompa Bay thread.

2. Belichick is legendary for finding overlooked players who end up elite. Not just Brady. Edelman. Malcolm Butler. JC Jackson just led 2018 and 2019 in best CB with lowest QB passer rating. A dozen other examples. Belichick is like a video game special code where every year or two, you get a random pro bowl player for basically no cost.

.

When he played the saints last time as a patriot, the game was over by half time.

Belichick is like a video game special code ...

Oh man careful with that analogy... I never hear about "special" codes, I hear about... I can't even...

Brady needed Kembrel Thompkins out there today.

Godwin looked good. Runs some really good routes.

Like Phil Jackson, after Michael Jordan

.

lol what is BB gonna cherry pick to a team with the best two players in the league. Ask Coach Pop how his system works without Duncan

I dont get the Schadenfreude here. People should enjoy having two games to be excited about each week. The Bucs will figure it out on offense. Whether thats enough to overcome Arians and general lack of discipline is another question.

In the Cam Newton era...

Bill Belichick is undefeated
Tom Brady is winless (Tom Brady 23/36 239 6.6 2 2 3-15 78.3)

Almost sorry I missed the game ;-)

Honestly same. I won’t lie, if I didn’t pick him for fantasy I would have been all in on the Saints tonight but I needed some points
