I’m pulling for Cam!

Who is Cam throwing the ball to? The same 2 people that the GOAT had last season - Edelman and White. So, were transitioning from the GOAT to CAM who has really relied on his running over his career.

Its quite sad that Cam had better receiving options in Carolina than he has right now.

WR Steve Smith is a stud and fringe HOF candidate.
TE Greg Olsen had 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons scoring a combined 16 TDs.
RB Christian McAfferty a 2018 total of 1965 combined rush/receiving yard and 13 TDs

Cmon, Man.

i guess we will see if blaming brady for the receivers last year by many fans was accurate....its why im at peace with brady leaving looking at this roster. With brady this is NOT a superbowl winning team. would be a repeat of last year

hopefully cams playing style/running ability allows them to be more creative with the playbook to get guys open...

Bradys biggest problem now is keeping all his receiving options happy.

Mike Evans is a 1000 yard WR in a bad season.
Chris Godwin is a 1000 yard WR.
Gronk is still capable of 1000 yards receiving and right today, Gronk is Bradys most trusted weapon.
OJ Howard is not a stiff.
Fournette had 522 receiving yards last season.

Cmon, Man.

Doubt Gronk lasts till the end of October.

He won’t do that here with Belichick watching.

And let’s not pretend Brady never ran his mouth to other teams either.

But it is a data point in a pattern of behaviour the previous poster said does not exist...

And your point is?..

"Froob said:
What did he ever do that was so ****y? SB fumble was bad but it was one incident.
Luuked said: Should Cam have shown more effort in that one play ? Sure. Can anyone find a pattern of him not caring or being soft on the field ? Nope."

Point is this is false statement.

im with you on the other guys, but Gronk was a shell of himself his last season in new england. he is not capable of 1000 yards. and OJ Howard has not shown anything in the NFL yet.

He says all the right things

is seemingly bringing a lot of energy and the team responded voting him a team captain.

If he delivers on the field (and stays healthy) this has the potential to be one of the best FA moves of all time. It would be amazing to from the GOAT to a different elite QB in his prime.

The bold part is the only real question about him. The answer could make the Pats a contender or an afterthought in 2020.

I guess a lot of eyes will be watching both the Pats and the Bucs and make their judgements. I just hope we get off to a good start and have a positive season for starters. Still hoping to be division winners.
