Jaguars cut Lenny Fournette

And their defense. Can't omit the bucs defense from the equation

Their front 7 is outstanding and if they can rush the passer their average secondary won't matter. The Giants did this to win 2 super bowls (against us).

When he started playing good teams then what happened?
...WITH WHAT WEAPONS??!?!? Edelman cracked ribs, no Gronk, Sanu (self-explanatory), Ben Watson??, Rookie Meyers, Rookie Gunner, No Harry for most of the year, OL unstable etc etc...Also, he ONLY went 12-4 (yes, we know it was also a team effort) but ONLY Brady can go 12-4 in those conditions, based on his infinite pre-snap knowledge of the game. You’re wrong.

His numbers the last 2 years have been on the decline. However, for 2019 specifically, he didn't play nearly as well once Gordon got hurt against NYG. I was at the Washington game and thought he played fine. Then the following week Gordon gets hurt.
Yes, but that’s mostly due to lack of weapons. I’m not denying that Brady is aging (that’s natural) & that his numbers took a dip, but we have to use context. Does anybody really think that Brady’s numbers would have been anywhere near the same if he were playing with the KC, NO, TEN, SF, TB, MIN etc offenses?? Anybody who says yes is flat out delusional. But you know what; this season (assuming there is one) will prove it once & for all. He now has endless weaponry. Just give them time to “gel” & he’ll show you (assuming health as well).

Does it matter? KC will probably be #1 seed. We’ll be 6-10

Not so sure about that. If we didn’t choke a home game to a losing Miami team week 17 kc is playing wild card weekend last year.they have the same squad. I think they’ll finish ahead of us but they’re not untouchable or anything

You forgot to mention that Benjamin Watson was playing on a torn Achilles:eek:.

KC without their fan noise is just another road game. Same with Seattle.
Teams practice for distractions.

The Patriots never had issues in either stadium. When NE lost it was because of poor execution. Fans like to believe that theyre part of the team.

They're intimidating places to play especially for players who haven't experienced it. If Stidham was our QB imagine what that's like for him going into those places.

2018 and 2019 Patriots had 5hit at WR beyond Edelman.

Gordon bailed out the Pats in 2018 and then quit.
AB came available in 2019 and Brady was so excited that he let AB sleep in his house.

WR has been the weakest position for the last 2 years and now its going on 3. The 2020 Pats are screwed if Edelman gets hurt.

If the Bucs are there and the Patriots aren't. I'll cheer for them loudly against the Chefs or Ratbirds... and that's it.
I'll take it!

If all goes wrong then possible. Like Cam getting injured. That's the floor imo. I still think this defense is too good to have a disaster season. Also some of those tough road games with the fan restrictions don't look nearly as daunting as they did months ago.
Our secondary should be good again...It's being 1/2 quality bodies short at DE...and one at DT...and Two at ILB...and an experienced one at OLB that worry me...

I’m sorry to burst your bubble but there is a giant gap between us in KC.

I'll take it!

Tbh I might feel differently if the time comes and just cheer for him anyway in the SB. He did receive a ridiculous suspension for a made-up scandal and had his reputation dragged through the mud.

No QB will ever have 6 rings so that means 7 is even more unbeatable. Shove it right up Goodell's backside.

I guess we'll see when teams try to run on us. Personally I think the issues up front can be coached. Still a passing league though and if it was the secondary then we'd be in a world of hurt.
