Just to clarify, RLKAG is a positive emoji, right?

Yes RLKAG is a nice positive emoji

Like, Agree, Winner, Funny, Love, I'm Excited (love and excited should be chillin' with each other), Thank you, Useful, Interesting, RLKAG

Maybe the negatives: Genius, I'm not saying anything, Maybe Not, What?, Dislike, Sad, Angry

Is there some back story to the continuing Ray Lewis posts here, I never understood why it has to be included in every poll.

So if RLKAG is supposely a positive emoji eventhough to me it has no meaning shouldn't there also be a AHKAG emoji for a negative post?

OK ... I don't see this ending well. This was essentially called 'How to anger 8 people in one post'...let's not do that, please :maybenot:

People get angry here? Seems a tad ridiculous.

I use my cell phone most of the time when accessing the site and as you know I am highly proficient in clicking of the emoji. Sometimes I click the wrong one because they are so close together and don't always know I do that until someone points it out. How about putting all the nice positive emojis on the left and the grumpy negative ones to the right. So if someone accidentally clicks the wrong emoji then chances are the one next to it may do anyway. Thank you.
Shave down your thumbs.

RLKAG is the best thing to happen to this forum since the Superbowl win vs the Rams.

Long overdue and much appreciated Ian.

I think Patsfans will need a Brady sub forum before camp starts.

Ian, here’s a great idea, let’s have a Political Forum.

Last I checked, Aaron wasn't worshiped as a hero and a network TV loud mouth and an anti-Patriot.

Ian.

Where is it? Did something happen?

Contact me privately if necessary, thank you.
Given the current climate, I received a few complaints regarding it and I do understand why. So it's disabled at this current time.

A good example, to put sensitivity to people's feelings ahead of our personal perspective.

If Ray were white, perhaps there wouldn't have been complaints.

I've been fighting like heck to raise awareness of continuing damage done by white supremacy.

So we Pats fans choose to be good actors.

I get equally incensed at ongoing, endless denigration of our franchise.

1985, 1996: The Patriots make the Super Bowl:

"They don't deserve to be there; it would have been a better game with the Dolphins/Broncos."

NYJ, KC, MIA, OAK, BAL, PIT, DAL, DEN, SF, NYG, CHI

Any other team: "Oh, good for them, they made it to the big game."

Patriots: "They were lucky." "[Opponent] choked." "Officials biased."

"They cheated" - No, not after winning a lot or even anything, no dynasty: Pittsburgh, January 2002.

ONE losing season in 1981 and the Patriots are a "laughingstock", a "disgrace", a "joke".

Multiple terrible seasons by every other team: "rebuilding", "snakebit", "struggling".

The point is that ongoing, endless unmitigated prejudice

leads to atrocity, tragedy, disaster and injustice.

How else would you describe CryGate or Defamegate?

This a football team!

Do you even know what prejudice means?

Fans from other team don't like the team that has been head and shoulders better than any other franchise for at least 20 years. So what!

Somehow, I think there are a few baseball fans in Boston that had the same attitudes toward the Yankees for decades, since Babe Ruth. That's the way fans are. And yes, that is the way players and front offices from other teams act.
======
I don't get. STAND UP and be proud of the patriots. Accept that other fans don't like the best teams. Or, be like so many. Whine when attacked, and make fun of the jets. Or leash out at other teams making believe that the very best weren't or aren't all that good.
=====
I get that this is all a matter of perspective. Some saw the battle between Manning and Brady as great football, among the best we have produced. Others simply hate or make fun of one or the other.

Need more emojis :haha:

I was gonna say "more cowbell" but APF already did it, below

I was actually only here to suggest the opposite. I’d love to see 2/3 of the current choices X’ed out.

And replaced by a cowbell. Maybe an eggplant. Seems like it would have its uses.

I would opt for a picture of our female member of the day, week or month.

Were you here when we had a porn star member? Don't know whether we made her leave by being eggplants, or she just got bored.

More cowbell:cool:

I really don't understand how there is not a cowbell now.

Okay that said, I wish we could talk about anything political without everybody turning into an internet tough guy or other form of dipshlitz, but apparently we can't. It's a polarized time, and it was hard enough back when America had the temerity to elect a highly qualified guy who happened to be black. I will not characterize the current resident of the white house, except to say that the majority got it right in the last election. Everybody who disagrees with me on anything is wrong. And probably technically should go to jail.

So I don't know why we can't have a political forum.

I'd put on a dress & MAGA hat and slow dance with POTUS on DWTS if it meant we could make political comments again.

A lot of our friends are Republicans, and we don't love them any less.

See above...because you more or less summed it up pretty well.
So I don't know why we can't have a political forum.
And again...what you pointed out is - unfortunately - the reason. :(
