I feel like when he was targeted he made plays problem was he wasn’t targeted often.
Was this that the play wasn’t designed to go to Him as a top 3 option?
Was it McDaniels scheming him off?
Was it Tom not trusting Him to be where he wanted to put the ball?
Was it chemistry?
Was it Tom couldn’t throw the deep ball anymore which is Dorsetts biggest attribute?
If Dorsett Has a Career year in Seattle it will hurt.
But it’s clear.
Between Hollister And Gordon and now Dorsett Seattle doesn’t think these guys are useless.
With Hollister we saw he had number 1 tight end ceiling as a receiving tight end.
So why didn’t that work in New England?
Injury history sure plays a huge part but Rivers is still on the roster.
I remember right before he was traded it was reported Tom said Hollister was breaking out.
The Seahawks cut Hollister in August and the entire NFL let him clear waivers, so this definitely isn't a just New England issue.

Hollister has nowhere near a #1 TE ceiling.

In his case specifically he just could never stay healthy here and at some point the team moved on from him. Which is the fate awaiting Derek Rivers this year.

As Simms said during the conversation, the Seahawks talked to the Browns about a potential trade that would have sent Wilson to Cleveland for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 draft.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Browns contend that the idea was “floated” conceptually, but that the discussion did indeed happen. At the time, the Seahawks were staring at another extension for Wilson, one that would result a year later in a contract with a new-money value of $35 million per year. And the placement of a no-trade clause in the latest contract was indeed influenced by chatter regarding the potential trade to Cleveland, we’re told.
Could Russell Wilson be traded by the Seahawks? - ProFootballTalk

Holy fack

There’s no way Seattle ever pulls the trigger on that theoretical trade. I sure wouldn’t.

Hmmm...Chickillo has been a 3-4 OLB with Sh!tsdirt, but NO doesn't play 3-4...Time to either hit the Fatburger or hit the steam room...
Doesn’t matter much; he’s predominantly a ST. May rush the passer in a pinch. Purely depth signing.

So josh gordon wants to return to the league? How many chances can a guy get? He looked finished as well don’t know if it was the injury or he bulked up a little too much.
