Yep, but 5'6" height(being generous) and i don't know if he has enough on his frame to take any potential hit. one solid NFL hit and he will reconsider this whole NFL think. He will have to bulked up a bit to stay in the NFL.

I think it was Sean Riley (5’8”) that supposedly ran that 3-cone.

What will make someone like this not get drafted? Injuries? Motor? What in the ****ing what? Why draft a kicker over someone like this?

Bear in mind it’s only a highlight reel. They’re not that useful for scouting because they don’t show flaws. Everyone looks draftable in a highlight reel.

Bear in mind it’s only a highlight reel. They’re not that useful for scouting because they don’t show flaws. Everyone looks draftable in a highlight reel.

I know, but somethings pop up to me on highlight reels. I look for potential. For this position, the shear explosiveness is what jumps at me.

Absolutely and explosiveness is one of my favourite things. But 32 teams passed on him 7 times for a reason and that’s worth digging into.

He blocked 10 kicks during his college career. That’s a unique talent that’s useful.

Kicking experience too, so could be an emergency game day option there.

yeah, sad how concussion robbed him of a long career. He was exciting to watch. I wonder how he is doing now.

My guess? He was playing against weak competitor and looks very stiff and lacks agility. Many of those highlight reel plays wouldn’t have happened against better competition.
Remember he’s a smallish DT by nfl standards but a big one at the level he played at. Can he make the same plays against 320 lb nfl G that he makes against 280 lb small school G?
