Eagles are reportedly circling around Brandin Cooks.
Can we please free up some damn cap and do something.

I think this is a "take it on the chin" year from a cap standpoint.
I hear the 2021 we will be a dangerous team but I feel like this team needs to free up cap to fill some gaps now.
We can’t rely on Draft picks and UDFA to fill every hole.

We aren't going to fill every hole this year.

Don't want either Kmet, Mims or Reagor at 23...If we can trade down a little and pick up a 2nd-rounder (23 for 34 & 44?), then Kmet becomes more logical...and a WR with our first pick 2 years in a row? I just don't see it...
Best might might be Trautman (or Harrison Bryant?) and Claypool (or Van Jefferson?) with 2 of our 3rds...
My 12th annual DW Toys Trade-A-Rama Moch Draft is coming soon. A preview has us with Jefferson, Trautman and Claypool.
Agree with you picks Captain Cousin.

Not sure what upside there really is to Samuel. He's young, but he's been in the league for a while already and hasn't been able to produce that much better than the mediocrity we already have on the roster. At best, you burn some draft capital for a younger player of the same caliber as Sanu.

Collecting a million #3 WRs is how we got into this mess, it's not how we get out of it.

The value of Samuel is that he plays for another team. Since, according to so many here, we have the worst WR crops in the NFL, it follows that anyone would be an improvement.

Ah, finally a post that should be made a sticky. As is the case every year at this time (not even 2 weeks into free agency), there are poster who want the team to do "anything". One can only presume that, as usual, they are bored.

I presume that someone is sad (as are many) because we have no memory. Patriots teams have often not had every hole filled as we win go to the AFCE championship year after year and post the best record (in season, in the playoffs and in the SB)

Any WR corps ? Any WR

If you can get Curtis Samuel for a day 3 pick (5th round area) I don’t see why we wouldn’t pull the trigger.

Trade 2 first-round picks for a guy who has never even made the pro bowl, and this was without even having a long-term extension worked out. lol

Report: Texans offered Laremy Tunsil $18.5 million per year - ProFootballTalk

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans’ initial offer averaged $18.5 million per year. Tunsil’s counteroffer is “significantly higher,” per Wilson.
Thuney just **** on the patriots latest offer I know its 2 different positions but all this does is bolster from the 10 to 12 mill new England was pry offering.

Might have to trade the beast.
