Not writing them off. Just a little concerned that Bill is targeting people who can play ST. At some point you have to sign a WR. Right? Not a special teams punt returning but an actual body that can line up and catch passes. If there's been one constant over the last 2 decades its that the Patriots are abysmal at evaluating WR talent.

I’m hoping we’re using this FA to get our special teams in order while using the draft to move up and down the board to find our next wave of offense/defensive starters with exception of our new kicker.

Is that graphic suppose to be reassuring?

Lets put it this way. If you play mediocre to poor against bad teams you can win. If you play mediocre to bad against good teams you lose.

Not exactly mind blowing.

Bill is trolling/lulling everyone to sleep by bargain shopping but will eventually drop the entend Thuney, sign Wolfe, sign Daryl Williams and trade for Engram quartet and all of you doubters and negative Nancies will rejoice.

Why entrench yourself in this weird position. Adrian is a former all pro. Coprland put up 5 sacks in a year before. They did a lot than Vrabel did before joining. So who knows. Don't write them off as special teams guys

Adrian is a former all pro as a special teamer.

Why is required or even reasonable to be signing starters from other teams in the first week of free agency? They are almost all overpriced. And, as an aside, we aren't one of the teams will lots and lots of cap room. Those are the teams that should be active in acquiring starters in Week One.
