REPORT: Tampa is Brady's Likely Landing Spot

I kinda wonder if Bill would trade Thuney to TB since they’re probably gonna be looking to upgrade their OL now. Package deal of Thuney & Edelman for a first and fourth.

I would personally rather keep and extend them both but it’s a thought.

Sorry. Here in NE titles matter. Not a playoff game. Post Brady stays the same. Just the playoffs would be an utter failure in Tampa. And I’m sure at 44 Brady will improve even more lol. Montana made the playoffs in KC and it was a failure.

Brady Sr said it wouldn’t end well. What he was wrong about was it wasn’t about the Pats but his sons career.
Come on man get real. It's OK for the Patriots not to make the playoffs or be one and done, but if the Bucs make the playoffs for 1st time in 13 years it's an utter failure? Tampa fans don't agree.

Who has the best conditions to succeed: BB with same team and coaches, or the GOAT going to a new team, players, schemes, coaches, home, etc.? Brady takes Tampa to the playoffs, he's a God to those fans. BB fails or is one and done, people will be pissed.

Brady's dad was correct, relationship didn't end well and it was all up to BB.

You didn't want Brady on the team because he's 43, but you want to hate on him cause he wants to keep on playing. Why so much hate for the GOAT? Please see a therapist.

Brady signed the Bucs contract per Rappaport.

You heard it from Triumph your source for news.

@mods thank you for changing the thread title. Maybe @Triumph can get sent to re-education camp to improve his thread titling skills (not the first time).

Stop whining snowflake.

The deal is done. Im way ahead of you as usual.

How is Howard down the middle? He better get used to running the gronk special!

Is the report that he decided to leave because he saw Hopkins and Diggs go somewhere else actually true? I have a really hard time believing that. The money and draft capital given up to acquire those two is outrageous. There’s no way he had to have thought that was a realistic chance for us...could he?
if so, it unfortunately says more about Brady than the Pats

“Brady takes the snap, drops back, fires a 6 foot swing pass to James White 3 yards behind the line a scrimmage.... yada yada yada....37 yard TD..... what a play by Brady!!!!”
if only he had thrown the swing pass to White in SB 51, instead of taking the strip sack.........

Nope. Just tired of the absolute delusion of people like you who seem to live in an alternate reality that TB is currently an MVP level player. And that he is worth 30 at 43 years old. That he is going to seamlessly jump in and light it up. All because of what? His past performance?

So at 43, will he miss less or more or the same amount of time for maintenance days or the same? He will not get away with missing time or reps in practice down there at 30 a year. He got away with it here because he is the GOAT and he brought us so much.

I can separate past/current performance and ability from what he did in the past. Also at 43 that’s an awful lot of pressure for his body to keep up with.

And I never said I didn’t want to be on the team. I said I wanted him at the number he was worth. 15-20 a year. That’s it. I don’t care if he manages to tell Father Time to F off for one year it still is a big gamble.

TB12 is the GOAT. But am I in the very small minority that thinks him walking out is uncool? He didn’t need the $ and it’s not like Ray Bourque where he wanted to leave to win a championship. Should’ve retired after beating the Rams in SB 53.

TB is worth what the market is willing to pay for him. Allegedly the market for TB is about $30M / yr regardless of how you feel about it.

TB doesn't need to play at an MVP level to be effective. TB has never lived in the past, ever. This is a new challenge for him and he's going to be pumped. I hope he's successful.

That’s not a market. That’s an outlier. Most likely his only choice. We shall see what happens. I think he will have a good season down there just not great. And I want great for 30. That’s all.

So you think he should've retired because you think that's what he should do? OK then.

I don't understand what part of TB wanting to play until 45 that he's been saying for 5 years pats fans don't understand. The guy loves a challenge. He's not ready to hang it up. He's got a lot of challenges ahead, no doubt. My money is on him being successful (which I don't define as going to the SB).

He's entitled to do what he wants. He wants to play until 45 so be it. I can understand both Bill and Tom's perspectives on this. Id rather see Tom on another team and excel there than be in NE with a bunch of stiffs.

OK fair enough. Though pretty sure Chargers were ready to offer about same.

And the Pats really really REALLY needed that $7m that they paid less than Bucs (Pats offer was $23m and Bucs $30m)

Those uniforms are so disgusting. A much lighter theme with grey, red, and yellow would be good. I find Bucs games hard to watch because I hate those uniforms so much.

As of this morning Tom Brady is following Mike Evans on instagram (wasn't yesterday)...so I guess its official.

No, because Brady has personal goals like owning 7 rings and he wants to put up NFL records that will stand the test of time.

The Pats dont have the offensive players to put up the type of numbers that Brady needs to achieve his goal. Brady worked his axx off for the Patriots and delivered 6 super bowl banners. Took the team to 9 super bowls.
