REPORT: Tampa is Brady's Likely Landing Spot

Real possibility Todd Gurley lands in Tampa. If he has recovered from his knee issues...lookout NFL.
That's a huge risk not worth taking. Tampa is better off drafting a couple RBs for cheap in rounds 2 and 3 or 4.

Gordon is cheaper and healthy maybe LA is throwing in picks so they take that contract

Buccaneer fan forum is SLOBBERING and PRAISING Brady.

If Brady wins Tampa a SB, I guess Buccaneer fans will be easier to get along with.

What does it say about the state of your franchise when the bucs look like a better destination

Rebuild is in full swing

And right below the Saints. With a chance at making the playoffs. Not saying much about the Falcons and the Panthers. No weed here. Quite the opposite. I just hate seeing TB seeing himself up for failure. I’ve been told in real life who cares he made his own decision. Still, the fact only a few here can see just how poor of a choice this could be for him and that organization is sad. 30 a year for a 43 cannot be stated as a anything other than a PR move. If they had signed him for 15-20 that would be more palatable.

I'll take Brady with that roster over Drew Brees anyday.

During the time that passed since he announced he'd leave, I was looking forward to Brady in a powder blue Chargers uniform, and eventually buying one. Disappointed that won't happen, and I may have to settle with an ugly Bucs jersey on my wall at some point. I know they're redesigning them, but I can't imagine they go from really bad, to really nice.
EXCLUSIVE: Uni Watch Has First Look at Bucs’ New Uniforms

Yea I saw that earlier. Still not-so-great in my opinion. Their color rush uniforms with red and silver are pretty nice. Throw in a silver sword on each shoulder, with some silver pants, and that would be pretty cool. As one comment says on that page, red and silver, ala Ohio State Buckeyes, is pretty sharp.

They have so much potential with a skull and crossbones at their disposal, and they continue to blow it. Those renderings look like they're the Falcons, except with some brown thrown in there.

Those uniforms are so disgusting. A much lighter theme with grey, red, and yellow would be good. I find Bucs games hard to watch because I hate those uniforms so much.

Yes we will. I mean hell he could have a fountain of youth moment but at 43 I tend to lean towards my way. Again all that matter is do they win the SB or make it to the NFCC. Either of those seem very unlikely in my opinion.
If Brady had any any legit weapons last year they have home field advantage and make it to the AFCC. Brady can still lead a team, he just needs decent players around him.

Who cares what the Bucs are paying him? The Bucs have legit weapons on O. Winston threw for 5K yards, but was a turnover machine. Brady won’t be At a minimum Brady will finish his career playing in a legit offense with legit talent.

Brady will easily throw for 40 TD’s next year. Won’t surprise me if he breaks Manning’s record.

Meanwhile in NE, whoever is lucky enough to play QB, will set the record for throws out of bounds or in the dirt. Other than Edelman, who the f*** will be able to get open?

I’m not looking forward to the dreaded Harry sweep.

Warm weather ... And 30 million... Kinda easy and smart decision. His health guru knows the value of sunshine and warm muscles.

The coach and receivers are pretty good too. Not boring . I'll be streaming those games.

Great receivers and TEs. Good offensive head coach. Defensive secondary is poor and offensive tackles are poor.

They signed Brady for PR reasons, not his QB ability. They need a dominant line and back to protect him.
Lmao, you hate being soooo wrong. This is what you don't get, let's assume you're correct on the 43 yo arm blah blah @ $20M? Is that fair? Then you've gotta add clutchness $7.5M and finally that certain je ne sais quoi he brings to a team for $2.5M = $30M voila!

The guy is GOLD. He's going to bring synergy to Tampa, get the whole area excited (St. Pete/Clearwater) take them to the playoffs for the 1st time in 13 years and everyone's going to adore him.

They just need a RT, a RB, and a CB versus finding a QB? Np.

Who says they have to do either? Bucs haven't smelled playoffs in 13 years. If Arians can take them to playoffs by 2nd year because he brings in Brady, they're both heroes and live to fight another year. Does the GOAT want another SB, sure but it's not a must for success, in Tampa.

He went for the big Buccs

Sorry. Here in NE titles matter. Not a playoff game. Post Brady stays the same. Just the playoffs would be an utter failure in Tampa. And I’m sure at 44 Brady will improve even more lol. Montana made the playoffs in KC and it was a failure.

Brady Sr said it wouldn’t end well. What he was wrong about was it wasn’t about the Pats but his sons career.

  • Making the postseason with a garbage franchise
  • Setting career TD record
  • Extending dozens of other prestigious records
  • Playing longer than any other QB in history, setting an iron man standard in pro sports
This would be a total bust if he doesn't win the SB? Maybe to you but you're in the minority.

Is Gronk still under Pats control? He can't go to the Bucs right?
