Ha no just a bit of a joke. I imagine him going ad lib at a rally would produce a similar dialogue.
Nothing wrong with a political satire.

Keep it coming.

If you’re out panic-buying and hoarding, you’re part of the problem.

we all need to remain calm. Grocery stores are not going to close down.

And no one is going to be able stay in their homes for months on end. If you’re young & healthy, do your part and social distance yourself with everyone else.

this isn’t a game and it’s going to take a strong society looking out for the common good to get through this. It’s not a time to complain, so accept this pandemic and make up your mind to be strong and conscientious.

I’m going to do my part and I wish all of you the best!

" Countries are shutting completely down at great financial/economical cost to spite Trump"
A "deep state" conspiracy, no doubt.

This is most definitely a Trump thing. This pandemic has been so horribly handled that the lack of action or allowing the virus to spread for four weeks before getting test kits in is going to cost a lot of lives.

And his blocking of folks from China and Europe probably saved a lot too...so far only 70 dead after the first case on January 20.

Glad we are all done pointing fingers and are working together to get thru this. God help us all if we had a really serious issue affect this country. ;)

I think we are rapidly moving past satire to Theatre of the Absurd and from there...

Supermarkets putting buying restrictions on popular items. And setting hours for seniors only. Given it's actually tough/scary for them to shop in these madhouses.

Great to hear.

I heard anyone old enough to remember the Jete winning the Super Bowl will get free delivery

Second time that I've heard that Massachusetts is preparing for a complete shutdown.

Just an FYI.

You don't understand exponential rate yet but I fear that you soon will. Remember how you said " only 50 deaths" a day ago?

Again. I really hope you're right.

737 new cases in one day.

And this is all with the caveat that our testing capacity is impossibly poor compared to every other major country, so those numbers are juat the tip of the iceberg.

The curve will get flattened over time due to measures by the government and individual citizens. In South Korea and China the curves have already flattened out. South Korea had 70 or so deaths but they were able to work quickly to stop the progress of the virus. It can work in the US too, but given the size of the US population the number of deaths will be more than South Korea. And the overwhelming number of US cases are considered mild.

@Ian Could we start a petition? Get Mike Reiss and/or Curran involved? (Coming from Patsfans to Goodell, I don't like our chances -- but still!)
I love where your head is at, but I doubt they'd go for it...at least not yet. The NFL has the luxury of the fact the season is so far off and I'm sure they're hoping this is under control by then so that it doesn't even become a blip on their radar.

A d!ck??? Just like a Jete fan to bring silly string to a gunfight. smdh
It's much worse than my being something as tame as a d!ck, I'm a Masshole.

That's my point, Ian.

This is all material that they've already got in the can. And, though people like me who pay for Gamepass may while away the time in the off-season looking at old games, no one is going to bother to subscribe just for that. So it really doesn't cost them anything, any more than it's going to cost the Met or the Berliner Philharmoniker. And they can look as if they're doing something "responsible" and "community-spirited".

To the rightful recipient of the Social Security, both are the same.

S/he does not get any money.

To deny someone the money they put in, over the years, is a betrayal.
But they aren't. Biden proposed a freeze on only cost of living adjustment, not cutting SS.

They are also testing 10k people a day and have uniform measures in place. We aren't doing that because our leadership is incompetent
