Futures say we'll open down to the level of the circuit breakers, which is astonishing given the decline to zero fed rate. All I can say is frack.
I guess POTUS is not printing out these 5% drops in the market and signing them for friends. Eh well maybe the bargain hunters will reinflate the market in CVS and Labquest stock.
Wah. This is going to be the mother of all "evolving point of view" threads (and of course, the wheel's still in spin)
Just heard: 1,200 calls only 100 tests. Testing priority limited to 1st responders and >65 yoThey probably have half a dozen kits and 12,000 people calling.
I was joking on the tire place bit. Turns out very limited testing to priority population except for there's a shyt load of >65 yo in Palm Beach.oh..well gee whiz golly...what incredible foreskin...er...foresight on the part of Palm Beach
When are these STUPID F*CKS in the administration going to REALIZE that the only way to get this economic crash addressed is bring some damn leadership competency to fighting the virus and assuage fear?! Under "tremendous control" my ass. No minuscule interest rate cut or talk of a payroll tax cut will help jack shyt. It's a damn Chinese fire drill.Totally did not take it as bagging on me, b/c, not to be self-congratulatory, but it's pretty much what I said point for point.

I thought about birdshot afterwards, at six to eight feet the shot is still tightly packed and would be devastating. I almost went back and changed it from buckshot to #1,or #2 shot.Winner!
I would use bird shot or target load to minimize the chance of shooting thru your walls and killing junior in the next room.
What they need is to generate some kind if impression that they are addressing the virus situation with a cogent plan and not continue to LIE about it! We don't need Orange Clown to get in front of a microphone on national TV and announce it's under "tremendous control," then a minute later have Anthony Fauci say the worst is yet to come. WTF kind of "leadership" is that?! This B.S. is intolerable and things are unraveling. At this point I'm pulling for a military coup (just kidding ... sort of). There's probably no way to possibly rescue the economy. Manufacturing was already in a recession and the only thing keeping the economy afloat was retail and services. And, well, you're about to see the bottom fall out on both of those.

“We wanted the cure from Germany, exclusive deal, they didn’t want to give it to us. Their country has a socialist leader, filled with terrible, terrible people. The Nazis, you remember the Nazis, the Nazis well their grandchildren, the Nazi grandchildren think we need to die. We showed them once, invasion of Normandy - I was born shortly after but the Germans are bad, real bad. Socialist too.”
Yep, that’s typically what happens to people who care more about appearance than reality.Yea Trump is not calming anyone down. He's lost all credibility. Nobody (aside for his cult followers) believes anything he says anymore. Its over.

We shouldn't be surprised by any of this crap with an insane person in charge frivolously firing every capable administrator or making them uncomfortable to the point of quitting. Seriously, before things melt down completely that clown should forcibly be removed.I mean, multiple federal workers have tested positive and agency heads are still ignoring OMB and OPM's pleas to institute full telework and are reticent to grant admin leave to people who can't telework. Federal offices are full of people today, even after people in those offices tested positive. That's the easiest, most immediate thing for the administration to control and they can't even do that, whether on purpose or by bumbling incompetence.
No one in the administration has a clue what they're doing, it's all lies and blaming someone else and petty politics of a scale that makes China sacking the Hubei bosses for cover ups look minor by comparison. It's positively ghoulish.

We had meetings with 4 County Commissioners today before a zoning public hearing on the 26th. They all asked we have a conference call instead of meetings. This is in line with your remote work comments above.I mean, multiple federal workers have tested positive and agency heads are still ignoring OMB and OPM's pleas to institute full telework and are reticent to grant admin leave to people who can't telework. I know, but at this stage that's how far you'd have to reach for a firm hand on this. While I generally agree, military coups in democracies are bad and you can't walk them back. Also, like, not going to happen.
