Well, I keep hearing that Trump's response to the coronavirus is so bad...well, here's your alternative.

This morning I read that Belize’s first step to combat Covid 19 will be to produce laminated signs showing locals how to wash hands correctly. Hope your govt can manage phase 1

For scorecard sake, we haven’t set the bar very high. I wouldn’t throw stones.

There was an experiment run in a mall recently where 250 people were stopped and asked to demonstrate how they wash their hands. There was a sink set up, hot and cold water, liquid and bar soap, paper towels.

Only 17 of them did it correctly. The ones that did it very quickly were told that they should do it longer to be effective; nearly 100% of them just repeated the same actions for a longer period of time, missing about half of the surface of their hands.

It's too bad that Planned Parenthood isn't part of the testing distribution system in the bill that's under consideration. They have over the years gained the trust of millions of women as a place they can get good advice and good care through a broad suite of health care services. My experience of them (as a consultant to a couple of chapters) was that they are remarkably efficient and focused as health care delivery organizations.

It would certainly be consistent of them to step in during a health care crisis that affects women, particularly when one of the focus points of the testing urgency is getting to the uninsured and underinsured, who will naturally hesitate to use the mainstream medical system.

Forget water and bread, the only thing I care about right now is hand sanitizer. There will always be food out there, even if I need to go to McDonalds. Water I can get from the tap. Hand Sanitizers are hard to come by.

Just read about some guys who drove around the country and purchased 17K worth of hand sanitizers. Their intent was to sell them on Ebay and Amazon to make a huge profit. The problem was these companies put an end to price gouging of these and similar items. They are now stuck with hundreds of bottles of sanitizer they can't unload.
