That means he's home. Christ you act like he's polar bear hunting in the Northwest Territory.

Operationally things are already in motion. The senate vote is not preventing that.

Relax.

Should have never left town in the first place or even gone into recess in the midst of a pandemic. And no, nothing happens without a senate vote (otherwise why even bother voting on it?). Additionally, even after they vote on it, it takes time for the elements in the bill to be set into motion.

The response to this pandemic has been atrocious, and as as result the worse is yet to come.

I'm done. I engaged in enough of his partisan stuff yesterday.

I am amazed you guys haven't got this thread locked yet. Right down party lines. I sincerely hope no one is affected by this, regardless of party affiliation. We are all in the same boat. You folks who bash/goosestep to your party's rhetoric are nuts. Both sides. Take care of your families and to hell with the parties.

Don't bother attacking me from either side. I am not gonna play. Be safe, don't get sick, all y'all. Go Pats.

The thread's subject was that the NBA season was suspended. Since then, all sports have been suspended or cancelled. What will ESPN do? Lots of snickering going on here. Schools have been suspended and gatherings halted. Not sure how this effects kids going to college (SATS cancelled). Two working parents will have a nightmare deciding what to do with young kids not in school. Churches have cancelled mass. What a crisis we are in. Thankfully, Ian has provided some leniency to rant about this issue. Maybe next week, we will have some Brady news!

Yeah. Same here. To me the who to blame stuff needs to be put on hold for the time being. Protecting our loved ones and our elderly neighbors should be the priority.

I do think it's silly when Deus can basically imply that all the non-conservative Trump supporters are ignorant, stupid humans who don't know the facts and then back away pretending he is above getting involved in the political aspect of the thread.

I made no such implication.

Delaying the process by sticking abortion funding in a Coronavirus relief bill was ****ing disgusting.

Water under the bridge I suppose, but if the reporting is accurate that’s not what happened.

I think that overall the world response was fragile but knowing in advance what happened in China i would hv expected a different and quicker approach in some european countries and now in yr one...

Expecially honestly by you as you had more time that now is infortunately gone...

All of ESPN’s top headlines are about major cancellations. They’re screwed.

Sports are important but not so important at all now

Yep. Lotta language, paid leave, lunches in the summer, abortion funding...and the list goes on and on and on....

Both sides. Not just Chemical Peel Pelosi or Skull n Bones Mnuchin

So I went to the local Stop n Shop at 6am this morning to get some water and bread and bananas and juice. I get organic vegetables delivered and some other things, as well. There was a line of about 25 people to get in. Wut? Once inside there were no loaves of bread...I prefer oatmeal or 12 grain...takes me about 3 weeks to eat 1 loaf. It's my vice. There was some water but no 2 Liter bottles that I like (yeah, I have a Brita but I am also a creature of habit.). Bananas and juice, it is. I noticed the meat section had been ravaged but there was a trolley of Perdue chicken that had not been stocked yet. There was no toilet paper. I wasn't near that particular aisle and didn't need any but yet thankfully there was a woman shouting at the top of her shrieking lungs, "There's no toilet paper. There's no toilet paper." She was ignored by all.

I know this isn't new to many but I hadn't been food shopping in a couple of weeks and I try not to watch any news since I've gotten off my medication. Perhaps that was a mistake. (I'm kidding....or am I?)

I regret having seen the movie, Idiocracy, because this trip would have been much funnier to me as I was experiencing it. Now it seems lame and depressing. I feel like I should get tested but for what I'm not really sure.

Yikes...this so asinine the way everyone is acting. We get our groceries using one of those apps where people shop and deliver them and you give them a tip...it’s always guaranteed to deliver within a few hours. Last night I saw a notification because my wife had placed an order.

“Your order has been delayed. We should have it there by 3:00 PM on 3/16.”

I can just imagine what supermarkets are like. Really wish they would have put limits per customer.

I hope you get your bread.

Failure is failure, period.

Speaking of failure, @Ian or mods would it be asking too much to get the misspelling in the thread title corrected? Some of the BS in this thread notwithstanding, this isn't chiefsplanet...yet. Certainly the coronavirus is a serious enough subject to merit being properly spelled.

EDIT: Thank you!

Any recommendation on the dosage? Thanks for this info..I’m going to get some for my in-laws. Can’t hurt.

Most capsules have 500-600mg. I’d say 3-4 capsules per day during acute distress would be fine, based solely on my experience. YMMV.

The WHO approved a test in January and in a decision which I don't know was due to sheer arrogance, incompetence or actual political calculation, our government decided not to use it but instead asked the CDC to develop its own test. That test became only available if February and did not even work properly - epic fail. I am not a democrat but this government has got to go, starting with the buffoon in the white house. I would not be one bit surprised if this guy does not want the testing to be widespread because it would make the "numbers look bad".

Failure is failure, period. I will call it out even if it makes me look partisan.

Since you are clearly motivated by citing blame for the handling of this cluster**** of a pandemic, let's test your scope and qualification of failure.

Did Pelosi and Mnuchin "fail"for not coming to terms sooner?
