Put me in the group that thinks WR will be a lot better next year, even without a big addition.
Harry was a rookie that missed half the year. I think it was hard to ever expect a big contribution from him this year.
Sanu coming in mid season isnt easy, and he had an ankle injury that may have hindered him physically here.
More time to get on the same page with Tom for Sanu and Harry will make a big difference. To a lesser extent, it will for Meyers and Olzewsky as well. WR for the Pat's Pat's always been more about skill and precision than physical talent.
Imo, the biggest issue with the offense was the lack of production at TE. But I dont think that position is addressed at 23.
I also think the OL could be better without a huge addition. Having Wynn back made a difference. Getting Andrew's back should help even more. I may be putting too much faith into youngsters, especially without Dante, but there are two talented players coming back in Froholdt and Cajuste. Cajuste should be able to be the swing tackle at least next year. Maybe push for time at guard, or push Cannon.
I think going interior DL is the most likely direction. It's hard to pay for a difference maker up front in FA. So you hope for it in the draft.
So i vote DL, with trading down as the other most likely decision. Hopefully TE is addressed with the trade down or with one of the 3rd round picks(or a move up from one).
