A simplistic view of Hyde.

Hyde will be 30 next September. This past season more than 33% of his rushing yards came in 3 games vs 2 of the worst rush defenses in 2019.

31st Jax - 90 yards
31st Jax - 160 yards
29th KC - 116 Yards
366 yards

Yeah, that's how distributions work. 33% of the NFL season is 5 games so putting up 33% of your stats in three games isn't that surprising. You can say the same thing about Dalvin Cook, more than 33% of his rushing yards came in three games too.

The last 4 games of Texans season the dude faded big time.

Tam 17 att - 27 yds
Tenn 4 att - 13 yds
Buff 16 att - 48 yds
KC 13 att - 44 yds
50 att - 122 yds = 2.4 yac

Good luck with Hyde.

I see two very good rushing defenses (Bills and Bucs), one game where all the starters were rested, and one game that swung from 24-0 to 28-24 in 8 minutes so you probably shouldn't draw any statistical trends from it.

I'll give you that he's 30 but he just had his best year so not sure what to make of that. Texans already made him a two year offer though. Like I said, he's fine. He's probably dead middle if you ranked all the RBs in the NFL.

If you really think Houston should trade into the first round to draft an RB you might be the only person who's worse at GM than Bill O'Brien.

The Bengals aren't passing on Burrow.
I agree with you. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami was aggressive and put together a great package, and the Bengals accepted it. Especially if they have another QB in the first round that they like. For one, that’s a great opportunity to stock talent across the roster, and I mean....they’re the Bengals.

Ask BB to step aside on drafting skilled positions or change his philosophy

They will need a QB unless they think Stidham is it. I’m betting TB won’t be back.

Tunsil's a top tackle and is still very young, Texans absolutely needed a tackle. It wasn't a horrible trade.

Teaxan gave up: 2020 1st, 2021 1st & 2nd + two jags
Texans got: Tunsil & Stills, 2020 4th & 2021 6th

Tunsil is playing on his 5th yr option in 2020 ... and no deal was made prior to the trade renegotiating the length of his deal... Thats a **** ton to give up for what could be a 1.5 yr rental ... yeah, pretty much a horrible trade

Are there any big name lineman in the draft? Any realistic options? I don't watch much college football

Depends on how everything turns out. Premature to declare a winner or loser when the draft picks haven't even been used yet. It's like the Khalil Mack trade, where the return has been... a running back.

I think last year was kc best team (mahomes on fire and had hunt).
They'll need to open cap space for kelce and I think Watkins may be the first to go. Makes sense to keep the core of the offense together (mahomes, hill, kelce)

Here is the list of KC's free agents. Kelce and Mahomes are signed through 2022. And yes, Watkins isn't worth $14M of new cap money.

I hope we prioritize team speed moreso in this draft & FA, than we usually do. That goes for WR, TE, CB, LB, and S positions. Team speed seems to be the area where NE is most lacking, compared with other top teams.

Good news.

Just read a article off USA Today website that ranked where the top 30 FA end up and Pats are getting AJ Green and Hunter Henry.

The only Patriot to make the list was TB and he goes to SF.

The article was written before Sunday.

Chiefs window is open as long as Patrick Mahomes plays for them. Great quarterbacks are always in it - Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Wilson, etc have all been contenders with completely different supporting casts.
It will be tougher once he is off his rookie deal and they have to reallocate $30-40 million to the QB position and can't pay everyone else...

Lol @ “needing” a RB. Use a 5th round pick or find some scrap heap guy and give him 10-15 carries a game. RBs are a dime a dozen.

Breida could come cheap similar to Jeremy hill was for us.
I’m on board for drafting Dillon In the third and trading away Michel for mid pick.

The teams left in this championship weekend starting running backs: two were undrafted, one second rounder, and a 5th rounder.

Yeah, those tweets by Chuck McDonald were definitely sarcastic.

Swoooooosh.....

Running backs don't matter

33% in 3 games coke bottle glasses.

Jax X 2 and KC = 3

A cursory search of any stat website like pro football reference has the facts in black and white.

The time for Houston to run the ball is ahead in the score to keep Mahomes on the bench. Houston could not burn clock.

I never implied trading up now. Just that the deal they made was stupid.

The only thing youre right about is BOB sucks as a GM. This trade and your support of it confirms that.

It’s almost as if you didn’t read my post at all.

Actually not surprising that your reading comprehension is as bad as your math skills.
