Many and the NFL loves it. They've always embraced the wrestling model of story lines and bad guys vs good guys. This goes all the way back to when Raiders used to be good.Good point

It was reported a few weeks ago that the NFL would come down on a decision about Spygate2 during the Championship week. Why? Easy. If as usual the Pats were playing this week then it would've added to the drama and get more eyes on their product. Get the casuals to tune in to hate watch New England. It's just all manipulating real situations into storylines to put more money in the pocket of owners.
The Evil Empire has been great for business for the NFL. Nice doesn't sell but anger and hate fuels interests. Marketing fact.
