If Brady comes back, to all out on offense this off season.

If he doesn’t, tank and get Lawrence and have high drafts picks to trade around to get solid pieces in the draft

Reload. They could've been real close to fielding one of the leagues best teams this year with probably just another good WR, a TE, some OL back up and good health. It might just be a few really good players. Maybe just two.

Reload with Stidham no need to tank or blow it up, based on reports Brady wants to get paid and he can't and have us reload at the same time if true, well I'm sure that's why we are in this situation.

- Let Brady Walk
- Massive Beef up of running game, RB, FB, TE and a few bigger run blocking OL and OT.
We built a competent when healthy blocking OL but it was a weak running OL.
-Take care of Collins, Van Noy and Thuney.
-Go heavy on oversized DT in later rounds and FA ... huge line both sides of the ball.

Should provide cover for a few years with a young QB.

If you do that better get him a tight end and some wrs who can get separation. Bringing this unit back is damaging to any young QB.

We definitely will since the big portion of the cap wouldnt be going towards Brady's contract in that situation.

Build the team around Harry and Sanu.

If Brady comes back I don’t care if we mortgage the future. Win him another ring or two.

If he doesn’t, blown it all up.

I have a model to consider Cousins.
Let Van Noy walk (too expensive)
Try to sign Thuney, Collins, Butler and Shelton
Slater, Ebner and Bethel should be fairly cheap to resign and are Team leaders
Karras should be a cheap resign (Perhaps RT?)
Seeing what we can get for Hightower. See what we can get for Harmon. See if we can get a pick for Cannon.
Release LaCosse, Brooks, Izzo
Hope both McCoutys retire (save $)
I might resign Folk and let Goskowski walk because of $

Reinvest that money

Now I have four signings in FA
BOTH TE's!!!!! Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper (both 25 and we can get back to the two TE sets like with Gronk and AH also like the Ravens are doing now). Whatever it takes.
Richard Higgins WR who can separate (sits behind OBJ and Landry)
Joe Shobert LB (very Teddy like)

Trades? What if TB Leaves? I think you can get Derek Carr from the Raiders. Just because we struck gold with TB doesn't mean Stidham is the answer and we are not getting a top QB in this Draft class. His numbers on a weak Raiders Team:
TDS

21

INT

8

YDS

4,054

RTG

100.8

Perhaps John Ross WR from the Bengals for speed.

Thoughts?

P.S. I think resigning Roberts makes sense too.

Not bad but we pretty much have a Super Bowl caliber defense which I'd like to keep
with the exception that we need to get some larger rotational DT's ... on the cheap.
A very strong running game could keep us in the hunt if we move on from Brady.

Bring back Jordan Richards and we’ll be all set.

I want to reload.

We are not winning anything next year without Brady unless we trade up in the draft for someone like Tua or maybe even sign Philip Rivers....but honestly...Brady is better than any other option even at 43, 44, 45, etc... I am OK with another one year deal...I don't care how much...just hope that Brady doesn't insist on something north of a 30M cap number.

And we gotta let a lot of players walk like KVN, DMac, Collins, Dorsett, and Thuney. All will get big deals except for Dorsett, IMO.

Try to resign Shelton and Butler on the DL.

Get Brooks/Harmon ready to play in DMac's spot....

See if Cajuste/Forholdt have anything. And rebuild the offensive line's depth....and check in with whether Andrews can play again.

And add one elite receiver to open the offense up for Harry, Snau, and Edelman.

Oh and massively upgrade at TE...I don't care if we get slow pokes who can't catch the ball, but get people that can BLOCK and MOVE BODIES!

I think we will be OK with a reload...and a tougher schedule next year...might not be as good as 12-4, but better late in the season.

reload... the Patriots are one 9-7 season away from tying one of the best (imo only) records in the NFL ... the cowbiys had a 20 season run with a winning record... the Patriots stand on the verge of tying that with a successful 2020 campaign ... and in two years that can top that record...

It may not be the most flashy record out there, but man, it would be nice to surpass that ...

and ... add to that Ray Lewis killed a guy

I think this team needs:
A veteran tight end and a draftee with the ability to contribute, not some free agent from South Idaho State or somewhere.
A safety who can cover a tight end. There's not one of those on the roster, IMO.
A 3-4 DE
Wide receiver
Slot receiver
Kick returner
Kicker
OT
A thumper RB. Too many RBs with similar body types.
A multi-tool QB/

This looks like a rebuild to me. This was a hollow team this year.

Every year is a rebuild, this year was no different. You can't roll sevens all the time. Sometimes shyt happens that cannot be controlled.

That being said, there are many offensive changes needed. This WR group has lead hands. Edelman and Harry are staying but the rest are on the edge. TE needs a complete redo. RB needs to be looked at, Harris? Who knows. OL needs some TLC and some new backups.

DL needs a LB and a run stuffer. SS to backup Chung.

The biggest questions are what the league is going to do for punishment. And what BB will do with TB, or what TB will do.

All the other opinions about what should have been, what is and what will be are just lacking any actual knowledge to be relied upon.

Hunter Henry or Austin Hooper. Roll with Stidham (there have been rave reviews about his progress the last couple of months). Re-sign DMac, Collins, Thuney and let Van Noy walk. Sounds like he wants a big payday. I’m not sure how to go about the receiver situation, really.
