OT: Jets listening for trade offers for Bell?

Not his best season but it will be funny when the Jets trade him and he recommits himself.

Held out for a year to take less money with the Jets and now Gase is shoving him out the door.

Does anyone else think that the NFL Gods are laughing their asses off at Bell. He held out, and refused 13 million dollars to play, sat out the year, got a contract that that may or may not pay him what he has already missed out on. And the worst part, he has to play for the Jetes!

I can see RB holding out for more money, but I'm sure that Melvin Gordon saw what happened to Bell and he returned without getting a new contract. Only Jerrah was stupid enough to overpay for a RB. And what did that get Jerrah? Another year of 8-8. How many years in a row do the Cowboys have to finish at 8-8 until they regulated to the Browns, Bengals, Jet category?

Googily-Eyed Gase Goofapalooza.

Bell can play for sure but Jets' awful OL did not make his life on the field easy.

Who cares.

Even AB is laughing at this one.

One of my favorite dual threat RB in this League. Pats should be in the mix we are not lightning it up at RB either or along the OL.

At this point, any team that takes him is taking on 3 years, $38 million with the cap hits roughly evenly spaced out (there’s actually a slight dip for year 2, but not a significant one). Year 1 would be guaranteed. The Jets would only absorb $6 million of dead money.

The Jets are smart to try and move him. Their problem is they need to find a sucker willing to take him because their own idiocy created the bloated contract in the first place.

It’s really something. Everyone thought Bell and Brown were revolutionizing player mobility with their cry on command methods last spring.

Look at them now.

Bell made a ton of money what the heck are you talking about.

Zeke isn’t the reason the cowboys were 8-8.

Wait for him to get cut, then sign him. Let the Jets pick up most of the check.

Bell has such an unusual running style that he really needs a perfect team to be successful. Not sure why anyone would be interested for anything more than $5M a year.

dont forget les snead of the rams dropping that stupid pile of cash on the doorstep of todd "bad knees" gurley ... just got to wonder how these teams can seemingly keep adding player after player with all these big deals on the cap sheet...

Phillip Rivers on Gordon holding out ...

"It certainly is a deep position for us, and those guys all love to play and work hard. We love Melvin, but we're going to go with what we've got. It's a pretty dang good group."

It's not a position you should worry abt considering how little RBs have to do with their teams success. And the fact that you can plug/play almost anyone in there & get positive results.

Chargers are just one of numerous examples. Patriots have won with how many cast offs & players nobody else wanted.

Look at RBs after they get paid. Almost never works out. Just not a good position to pour money into considering how replaceable they are.

And now his play has diminished and he’s in the cusp of getting traded.

Got his money. Great. Didn’t better his career.
