Baltimore is playing the Steelers in a game the Steelers must win if they're going to make the playoffs. Baltimore is going to be resting players. That, obviously, could have an impact on who makes the playoffs. It got me to thinking, and I figure that some people might find this stuff interesting, so:

Here's a thread for all moves and transactions that might impact who makes the playoffs, and where playoff teams get seeded. So, please feel free to add any information as it comes in. I'll drop the first bit of news in the next post.

Who gets in if Steelers lose and Tenn loses? Isnt it Pitt?

No TEN has the tie breaker. I really believe Ravens are tanking last game and hoping TEN loses to Houston. They don't fear anything I'm sure, but TEN is a much bigger threat and if Steelers make it it almost assures KC vs NE in divisional which is great for them.

Seattle has no running backs. They'll be adding to their roster, and that'll end up here. They're reportedly looking at Lynch, Anderson and Turbin.

In addition to trying out Marshawn Lynch, the Seahawks also tried out veteran RB C.J. Anderson and hosted Robert Turbin on a visit today. Three familiar names on Seattle’s radar.

Eagles are going to be making a move, too.

Eagles are releasing RB Jay Ajayi today, per source. They are getting RB Jordan Howard back this week.

Hopefully ten wins, thatd be a travesty if the Steelers get in because the ravens throw the last game and essentially give kc a first round bye.

O’Brien said Texans will play to win against Titans when asked if he’ll rest players even though they have an outside chance at third seed.

If someone could convince the walrus to rest his starters against the Chargers, that would be great.

How can kc wind up with a bye just because the Steelers win?

They can’t. KC can only get a bye if the Pats lose and they win. He is saying that a wild card game against the steelers and their INT vending machine QB is like having a bye week.

Ok. Had me going there for a minute

Steelers lose, titans lose, colts win, raiders win and raiders are in
I think there is a "strength of victory" tiebreaker between Pittsburgh and Oakland as part of the determination, but that may have been settled after this past weekend.

Chris
