It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Whatever they get they deserve, they should have known better.I don't think that's a super unpopular opinion, FWIW. The Pats should get a standard gameday procedure violation fine and that should be the end of it.

One can only wish. The longer it goes, the worse it will be. This is not a league that’s kind to us and jealousy reigns supreme. We really should have known better - this falls on Kraft. Feel bad for the coaches, players and us fans. The league just needs to say “no advantage gained and no advantage looked for” and that will be the end of it.

If they have b-roll of the team plane landing the Patriots should be docked a draft pick for plotting to blow up their own plane.
How ironic is it that the day the Chiefs equipment goes missing and people automatically try to blame the Pats, a framejob attempt was going down in Cincy?
Also, how ironic is it, that NE is doing these documentary pieces to show behind the scenes FOOTAGE on the inner workings of the team, and yet somehow, they're labeled doing it in order to cheat the 1-12 Bungles. Something has to be afoot
Our country gets dumber and dumber by the day.
My prediction is $500K fine and 3rd rounder lost for the violation. No suspensions if the league agrees with the Patriots version of events. If not then all bets are off and the sky is the limit.
Brutal and over the top but realistic knowing how this league operates.
True but why give them an opportunity? Kraft and his son should have known better and never allowed any taping from the press box. Even BB said that’s not allowed. Why were they doing something that’s not allowed? Totally unnecessary. Finally the cheating narrative was dying down but no - Kraft productions had to make some stupid Do Your Job podcasts and behind the scenes look at a scout. Who cares! Just don’t do anything that would arouse suspicion, esp taping from the sidelines! How ironic is it that the day the Chiefs equipment goes missing and people automatically try to blame the Pats, a framejob attempt was going down in Cincy?

In re the current snafu, the issue is simple : Advanced scouts cannot film anything. The idiot with the Kraft organization was with the advanced scout, and he pointed the camera at the field.I had no intention of starting a new thread on this subject, but for some reason I keep getting blocked out of the "WTF ..Cinci…filming…" thread.
Mods feel free to move there.
Anyway my question is, after the first filming issue with the Jete, I was under the impression that you were allowed to film in a (paraphrase) "In a space with four walls and a roof..."
A press box?
What is the real rule? Is filming permitted in any location? Not permitted at all? Only certain parts of the field?
And, to me, it seems ridiculous to think there is anything more to be obtained from film that can't be seen with binoculars and pad and pencil. IMO
It's just so stupid with the uproar we are hearing again!
I mean is it legal for BB to buy a ticket behind the sideline to every opponents game, a week before he plays them and break out his cell phone and record everything?
I know he wouldn't, even if he could because he has real work to do. But maybe a scout?
But I think you get my point.
I'm must be missing something.
Any insight from those in the know would be appreciated. Thanks
What if it was a team that was a repeat offender? One who was busted for Spygate previously?
While most of us can appreciate why there would be another penalty, it should be limited to a fine and a low level draft pick. More importantly, it should come with a brief explanation that this had nothing to do with the team’s practices, but was limited to the documentary. In re the current snafu, the issue is simple : Advanced scouts cannot film anything. The question is does the football program get penalized because of what someone not affiliated with the football ops did. Answer is most likely yes.
Not gonna get into a debate, but JFK was hit by 2 different bullet types. First was a full metal jacket that went through his back and was most likely a kill shot anyways. The 2nd bullet was a hollow point that exploded part of his skull. Follow the logic there. It's the American way of reacting to a bad situation. When JFK was shot, it had to be a conspiracy, etc. People never accept the most logical version of events. Something has to be afoot.
