What if it was a team that was a repeat offender? One who was busted for Spygate previously?
What if Kraft actually held a press conference and read off the history of the cheating NFL fron offices from NY--->NE, from 20 years ago, and then connected the dots for everyone to hear the real story?
I don't know how you get "busted" for things that never happened. Isn't that the problem here? Use the media and a sinister tone, and the media love$ it because they make tons of money off of this, so they don't want the truth. They just want the wrong info massaged for as long as possible.
People actually believe BB was doing something different than other teams with regards to video scouting for 6 full seasons under Tagliabue's watch, which is hilariously impossible. There is no way a team could openly break a known rule for 6 seasons, 20+ games per year.
It basically means Tagliabue was helping us cheat or everyone was in a coma when NE came to town. There's no way 6 years could go by. What it means is, Goodell changed the rule, which is why it was not voted on into the Constitution and ByLaws. He didn't want it voted on. Do you see?
This means NE never cheated. A rules violation anf FU to the JEts and Manboobs is not cheating. It may be unprofessional like Tomlin intentionally trying to affect play on the field, but what BB did was in no way actual cheating.
So, if you know this to be a lie, the only thing BB did wrong was disrespect how Goodell wanted the rule followed. When other GMs or coaches have erred like this, it's pretty rare picks are taken.

It also means these made up charges can be used as a plat form this "repeat offender" baloney, which is why Kraft has to stand up for once and tell the truth, instead of allowing Goodell to lie.
What's kinda funny is on the heels of Deflategate, Goodell hammered the bejesus out of KC for tampering with Maclin, which is ludicrous because this means Reid could never contact a former employee and maybe they're friends still. But, I think Clowndell did that to show he punishes evenly, since there was so much backlash about Goodell being caught lying about Brady in a federal court.
Meanwhile. the Jets tamper with us, a REPEAT OFFENDER, and nothing happens.
It doesn't help that Felger and Mazz (I've been tuning in these recent days to see if they will continue to lie) continue to pump the lies on air. And, guess what? They're giddy, continuing to lie and mislead the customer.
Can you imagine what people from out the area think when visiting and putting that crap on? Other markets don't have people on the radio, lying to smear the local teams like that.

You'd have to be a complete moron (not you, generally speaking), to not see what has been going on and what is going on here. This is about nitpicking on rules that aren't broken or intended to be broken in any way, used against the Pats to steal picks.
A normal commissioner would believe the simple explanation and just fine for effect for gameday protocol.
NE is watched like a hawk for these specific kinds of "opportunities" to smear and punish because it's clear teams know Goodell will consider anything. It's a known thing. No way Kraft isn't aware of this. No way BB isn't completely aware of this for being told to go silent on Spygate our he'd be suspended or possibly banished from the league His memoir and chapter on these matters, will be very telling. We'll all get the details someday or Kraft can finally stand up here.
They all likely sat in a room after Spygate and said "my goodness, they will do anything to try to slow us down, we have to make sure we check and double check every move we make".....I mean, this is how Kraft and BB knew Brady did nothing. It's how I knew he did nothing the second I heard of it.
This why they actually called into NFL offices before the Ravens game to check on the substitution thing, too. They don't want it to be seen that they're doing something that can be used against them.
Indy and Balt probably heard about that, on the heels of Brady telling Cheatbaugh to check the rule book as he sits on that Competition Committee like Polian, tailoring rules for himself and to go after BB, and voila, another frame job was formulated.
It's sick, but these are the real facts the media ignores. They also ignore 3 different federal judges have called Goodell a liar. Doty, Jones and Berman. All 3 told the NFL they were lying on 3 different topics.
Why anyone would believe a proven liar in federal courts, is beyond me. I mean, the narrative from Fat Boy Bertrand on 98.5 right now is "this doesn't look good even if innocent because of no credibility", etc, but how does Goodell have credibility? It's just so funny to me.
The Pats are not the ones being caught lying in federal courts and have never hid anything from the league.
How this is not a simple fine and be done with it like other leagues would do? Unfortunately, we know the answer.
Gooodell's phone has been lightinng up since last week with owners, GMs, etc, all over the league making it seem like is something sinister, probably making arguments for punishments to cheat with draft pick theft.
Reports are Cincy is "furious", but I think the Pats should be knowing this is being handled improperly by Cincy.
1. Team personnel filmed in the press box without Cleveland's consent.
2. They did not believe Kraft Productions, and then took the video and ran to Goodell, when teams are supposed to alert NFL personnel to intervene.
