It’s admittedly the least important storyline, but for the record, Brady now needs just five passing TDs to pass Goober. (Though the odds are that Brees will get there first.)

They should probably forfeit.
They should be so embarrassed being 10-2 they should probably just cancel the season.

No they shouldn't forefit. And nobody is suggesting that they should be embarrassed. But it is what it is. What has this offense shown that makes anyone think they are capable of getting this team to a Super Bowl? Last year we all thought the offense was underperforming. This year I don't think the offense is underperforming. I think this is who they are. No Gronk. No great FB. QB a year older. The scary thing is that the Texans D isn't even that good. And they still struggled. What's even scarier is the Chiefs offense is better than the Texans. Hill is a better receiver than Hopkins. Kelce is the best TE in football. Mahomes is Mahomes.

I think this is a game where the pats offense has to score points. Defense wasn’t good tonight.

What you think means absolutely nothing.
They are 10-2 havent lost at home in more than 2 years and will go out and play the next 4 games and the playoffs.
Stop being a bozo and saying they have no chance because you have no clue.

I mean they were on the field the whole time since the offense was hot trash. Defense cant beat up on trash offenses every week. If the offense cant sustain drives than the defense is going to give up points. Not really there faults.

Didn't say they didn't have a chance.

So you agree they should forfeit

We are going to struggle in this game.

Yeah you literally did.

Fine. You want me to say it? As currently constructed, this team is going to get blown out by KC. We have no run game. No blocking. No TE's. No receivers with the ability to get seperation. KC's defense isn't great. And I doubt they win the SB. But the Texans defense sucked too. And this offense did squat. So yeah. Your darn right I hate our chances against the best QB, TE, and receiver in the league. And it has nothing to do with our defense. It's because the offense can't sustain drives. Which in turn tires our defense out. With the way our offense has played, we are getting the wrong team. At the wrong time. If that makes me a crap fan. So be it. I call it like I see it. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine. Things won't just magically happen. Thee needs to be personnel changes. Which it's too late in the year to happen.

FINISH HIM!!!!

And that is what people call hedging.

You know the thing with some of the posters like good old Patradomous is that while they make insane threads that call a season over, they at least have the guts to put out their opinion. Often it is wrong but at least they are giving their opinion straight.

And then you have people who trash everything but then wrap it in a nice conditional bow because deep down they are more concerned with showing that they are not wrong for some internet points than anything else.

If you think they will lose/go nowhere this postseason and your opinion seems to be clearly going there then stand by it.

I have expected a lot more from the offense in the last 3 games (expected proper 30+ games) but for various reasons (Wynn not available against the Eagles, horrid conditions against the Cowboys) found ways to say "next week will be when we finally see their true face".

Well, turns out they remain a disappointing mess and I was wrong. But given the track record of the coaching staff and the QB of this team I still expect them to find something that will work until they either have won a title or get kicked out of the playoffs.

You just said a loss is going to magically happen.

No. I meant the offense isn't going to just turn a switch. It will take a major personnel move for them to get it going. Or the receivers suddenly being able to get seperation. And those aren't things that "Just happen". It's going to take a full offseason for the rookies to learn the playbook. Defenses have figured it out. Double Edelman, and put a top corner on Sanu.

The defense is great. But when your offense keeps going three and out, they are bound to get tired. Which leads to points against.

FINISH HIM!!!!

"As currently constructed" are the three key words. It's my opinion we see a repeat of last night if the offense does nothing. Defense will get tired. And well...I've said what I've said.

I see your point. I'm basing my opinion on 12 games. Not the last 15 years. Generally teams that suck on offense in December don't win a SB. They did last year. But that was with Gronk, Devlin, and the OL playing great.

I can see the Pats leaning on the run game more next week. They need to keep the ball out of Mahomes' hands, and the KC run defense is pathetically bad. That plus some timely play action, home cooking and time to recover from the flu should give them a decent chance against a dangerous KC offense. This is the team that the defense was built to beat. I'm looking forward to the matchup.

I guess the only good news is KC is still one game back if they win. And the defense was built to beat this offense. But it won't matter if the offense keeps this up. I mean the Texans defense isn't good. Yet the Pats didn't take advantage. Chiefs defense is slightly better than them.

Ok so you have given up on this team and give them no chance.
I’ll wait for the games to be played.
