Quinn is a crafty, unorthodox rusher. Study him all you want, he's the type you need first-hand experience against. Few bumps but Wynn flashed big time & showed why he could be special.

I thought 12 looked a lot better & made critical calls on the los shifting pass pro inside-right (Rita) to pickup Dallas' stunts. Killed at least one play to go to something quicker. Not his best game but still showed why he's a top 5-10 QB w/out gaudy stats.

Edleman is putting on a release/rr clinic this year but something that never gets talked abt his blocking. Such a complete player through & through.

Amazing how Gilly went from a good player that missed top 10 list in Buffalo but legit DPOY player here going on 1.5 year. Bill can do wonders w udfa, lower tier talent but can also take a vg player & make look HOF worthy.

Collins made some terrific plays that won't show up as well.

Despite the score this was a + game in context for me. Offense looked like a group of moving parts instead of awful which is big for me. Get/stay healthy & we'll have group more then capable mid-end of Dec. Which is all that matters for a 10 win team that has Bill/Brady on it.

Shocker Rookie receivers playing in a monsoon played sloppy. News at 11

And I did not know that 20 carries for 85 yards with a 4.2 avg - from a guy everyone says sucks is "non-existent"

Keep going, this is fun.

Clearly I am referring to the passing game. RBs didn't contribute to the passing game. I am not sure why though. White and Burkhead are more experienced than Meyers and Harry and would likely have run better routes and held on to the ball. A bit disappointed they weren't more involved. White was leading receiver for us last year.

I don’t know how much of it was Wynn but the OL had its moments where Brady had all day in the pocket which we really haven’t seen since Week 1.
Which would imply a lot of it was Wynn.

didnt go through all the pages but i assume its the usual "We won but we suck" theme going on ?

Generally praise for Defense and Special Teams and for running game. Reservations for the overall offense.

Also it's pretty obvious who the "new" fans are.

Crystal clear they were NOT around pre 2000 or early 2000's.

"What is 'the Patriots 3 scoring drives', Alex?"

"That is correct."

So disappointing given the 5 wide receivers they were fielding .....it was as if Sanu and Dorsett were invisible or something.

Never understood why the first reaction to a win isn’t joy over the win, but instead is trying to find negative things to whine about.
It’s like people’s interest isn’t in the team winning but in finding something to be upset about so they can feel doomed.
They are accustomed to a pleasing 40-10 win and if it's a bloody, vicious ugly 13-9 win they want their money back.

Maybe I learnt from BB. His first reaction would also be to fix mistakes.

I think Wynn being back definitely helped. Newhouse was so bad at LT it was getting dangerous for Tom. Although I think he played better at RT tonight when he was in there.

Brady 17-37 190 yards

In 2003 Pats beat the Giants 17-6. Brady was only 8-21 112 yards :D

I think there’s something to the 2003 comparisons and hopefully ending the same way!

I’ve been there for awhile......team won games without scoring a touchdown

I will agree Whites disappearance act is odd.

I knew it would be ugly but I didn't care

As long as we got the win and no significant injuries. And we got both.

I think it’s more than that. I think it’s the old Red Sox mentality that you have to be an eternal pessimist so you feel good when they fail. If you don’t harp all season on what could go wrong you feel duped when it does.
Of course it seems to take all the enjoyment away from the success.

I'm just glad with the win against Dallas, I don't have to go full Kontra 2018. That would've been unpleasant.

Not all early 2000s teams were the same. This does resemble 2003 team. But 2004 team was too efficient on offense with Dillon to be a good comparison.

Tell Bedard that critisizing Meyers or Harry gets you declared "insane", "sociopath", "idiot", "garbage" and plenty of other ridicule. They should stay away from there forums if they have that opinion.

People are being idiots when they pile on you over this game. That being said, Meyers' numbers overall are solid for a WR5, though a bit misleading (and that can happen with any WRs, but particularly with rookie WRs) because he's had a couple of games where Brady's pretty much been forced to go to him, and we've seen that be a problem.

I think it's fair to say that Jakobi shows some promise, but is not deserving of a major role in the offense at this time. And I think it's fair to criticize the team for allowing its WR situation to become dire enough that Jakobi was one of only 3 "healthy" WRs for today's game.

10-1

Great win without 2 WR and in horrible weather. 5 games left 2 of which are against Miami and Cincinnati.

It would’ve nice if Dallas could knock off Buffalo on Thanksgiving, but relying on the Cowboys is iffy.

Has any. Team so mediocre ever received so much pub? Jerrah is going to cripple his team with a ridiculous contract for Making sure they will remain a .500 team.

and the 2004 defense wasn’t as good as 2003
