Prior to 2007 Brady's longest streak of +100 QB rating games was three, coming once in 2002 and once in 2003. Brady's streak is now six. In the first six games of 2007 he has doubled his longest +100 streak.
The most times he's been over 100 in a season is eight (oops), taking place in 2004. Through six games he needs only two (oops) more +100 games out of the remaining ten in order to match that total.
Brady's start has gotten some hype due to his 'record start', but I just wanted to post this to point out how dominant Brady's play is even by Brady's own standards.
The historical reference, I feel, puts his start into a stunning contrast and my appreciation for his play so far this season cannot be overstated.
He's simply playing out of his mind.
The "WR Argument" of the Brady vs Manning debate has taken an interesting turn this season.
