Michael Bennett TRADED TO DALLAS!!!!

Hey I got one right!

Of course everyone knew this was coming so who cares.:(

So we lose Trey Flowers and Malcom Brown, replace them with an undrafted rookie free agent, yet we are way better on defense this year. Head scratcher.

Proof that veteran continuity may be one of the most underrated aspects of this defense.

The secondary is so loaded we traded a cb drafted in the 2nd last year for a bag of footballs (and he's getting significant playing time iirc). The LB crew may be the best BB has had in NE, as a unit it may outclass "his" NYGs.

The result? Doesn't matter what the dl does, as long as they can tangle up and two-gap. The communication between the bigs and the backs is unreal. And I'd wager they're 3 deep in the backend and up front (maybe 2 lbs capable) with guys that could rock the dot assuming their on the field. HT/Van Noy/Dmac/Chung/Harmon/Collins/Roberts.

It isn't fair. I can't wait for them to confound Mayfield and have the punk Beckham punching the kicking net midway through the 2nd.

Finally we can talk about what happened in Vegas.

Honestly this was my second least favorite FA signing after Haynesworth. Both pieces of ****.

Is getting a 7th round pick for a starter really even "traded"?

BB isn't going to be very popular at the next inter-league player picnic.

But, if Bennet wasn't happy with his role, now he gets to play for a team that will probably be in the playoffs.

bye bye...

But the trading deadline is approaching in a few days - I’m not sure but doesn’t this give the Pats cap relief now???

.
That would be the only reason to do this. Still dont like it but if they needed some cap space then ok.

Starter? He played like 10 snaps week 6 then got suspended for week 7. Did he start game 1 maybe? Even then he didn't get very many snaps. He saves 2.6 million in cap space. It was brilliant to get anybody to take him outside the AFC just for the cap alone. He was a vastly overpaid backup.

is BB descended from Machiavelli? there have been so many plot twists, move/counter-moves. I'm getting dizzy. Is there a scorecard dating back to the start of the off season?

We saw this coming a mile away after that presser. He hated it here

Good. For the best for both parties. There’s some good cap relief from this too, no?
allows another trade or a few FA signings. That can help a lot.

OT: I don't like the new *confused* thing. I find it confounding. And passive aggressive. I prefer aggressive aggressive.

Totally agree. Same with people saying "I'm not sure I understand" instead of "I disagree". As Massholes, we should pride ourselves on directness of communication!

Lol, it was my 2nd least favorite of this SEASON. :p

Genius is way better than confused for the same purpose anyway.

.......

Addition by subtraction. He was not fitting in to the scheme. I have no idea what was going on interpersonally with him and the coaches and players but he definitely wasn’t being employed in the 3-4. And they looked almost as overwhelming Monday night as the 1920 Buffalo All-Americans with him suspended.

Please, the suspense is unbearable. I can’t imagine who your least favorite is.

will his knowledge of system help cowboys in upcoming game

He should have stayed in Philly with Lane where he could have fun. F him and his tiny shoulder pads.
