There’s nothing unique about the scheme. What’s unique is the personnel. They can blitz because they have like six above average defensive backs, ranging from very good to elite, and two elite linebackers (three if they put in Collins as a pass rusher) who can also cover well. When teams bring the house, you look to you’re best player...he’s vaporized by Gilmore. Then you look to your hot route or other options who are blanketed by the McCourty brothers, Jones, Jackson, or Harmon. And then Van Noy or Hightower (if they’re not destroying the QB) may just drop back unexpectedly to pick off a pass, which is like potential danger #7 on the QB’s checklist.

Even without pressure, QBs are holding the ball, running right, and throwing it away. That’s how good the coverage has been.
