I’m not too sensitive but I do call people on certain things. “Disagree” is fine but have the courtesy to state the reason why you disagree.

I think Angelpat was thinking about “Agree”. If one agrees, no explanation is necessary!

Yes, but it’s a forum and there tons of threads. And emojis are a fast ways to express our opinions. Some people have time for explanation and some don’t, or do so when asked. That said, I’ve only maybe disagreed around a handful of times since I’ve been here, once in this thread, cause poster asked.

Do you really believe people are in a hurry when on this board? In all honesty, I’m starting to believe most of society thinks or feels like they’re always in a hurry. I know I’m ranting, but just get on any highway in Massachusetts and tell me people don’t “believe” they’re in a hurry.

The reality is, we’re not in a hurry. That’s why I said it’s lazy just to click on an emoji. Think about it like you’re socializing face to face. You wouldn’t run around a party just bopping in and out of conversations.

I agree in life, socializing face to face is important in many aspects, but these message boards brings out some of the worst in people. Some become keyboard warriors and attack others and I know that’s not how they would act if they were to sit across from someone. It’s really ridiculous seeing some drivers speed up to a red light, when all this “rushing” they do gains them just an extra minute.

PR is right. If you’re in such a dire rush what are you doing on a fan website? It’s no huge crime but If you dont back it up you’re just ringing doorbells and running away. Just an observation.

In fairness, if you and I were 20 or 30 something, we’d probably be more distracted and less patient on internet boards. I think we’d also spend even more time on social media.

I think we’re all products of our generations. I hate generalizing/stereotyping any group. But I believe there’s some level of truth in this case.

I’m grateful I grew up when I did, but it’s not like I can take any credit or blame for that. I don’t know how old AngelPat is, so I could be off base.
