A blocking tight end/full back is really really needed. This seems to be exactly what this guy is. Cheap money, what isn't to like.

I hate to break it to some of you, but the elite blocking and pass catching tight ends are few and far between, especially ones who are available at this point in the season. Finding a good run blocking tight end is exactly what we need.

Things change, some worse, but some better. Our TEs this season are trash, but our defense, especially the secondary, is outstanding. 2011 was the zenith for our TE production, with Gronk having his record breaking year and Hernandez also producing great numbers, but that was also the year we had the second worst pass defense in NFL history, up to that point at least.

It sucks, but you can't be great at every position every year.

Bill not drafting a TE is increasingly looking like a big error.
Dawson Knox would be looking good in a Patriots uniform right about now.

Been saying this for 2 years. 2018 & 2019 drafts were loaded with excellent TE’s, not getting one in the top 4 rounds was a huge mistake (for the future). Not doubling up on a great receiver class in 2019 was a major mess up too. Hated trading up for NoPlay Williams instead of staying put and taking Metcalf and others.
