Given the injuries at WR, I suspect that we will activate Harry, if he can walk. Maybe Myers is more likely to contribute in the playoffs as a receiver, but I can't see depending on Gunner to do so.

IMO, the only other possibility is a trade for a WR, with the idea of activating Develin.

As an announcer said last night, this is the worst supporting cast to Brady in many years, if not ever.

IMO, we won't be in the AFC championship game with last night's team. The good news is that we have 2 players coming back from IR, are likely to trade for a playoff contributor, and hopefully will have some health among our receivers. In addition, the OL should improve by the playoffs, as they do every year.

MY HOPE is that Wynn and Develin are coming back at 100%, and that we acquire a WR, a TE, and a backup OL (interior or OT).

What can we really expect from the offense at this point? They barely played in the preseason together then they lose Wynn out of the gate... I'm not sure why it was really a good idea to expect a recovering o-line man to play 70 plays.. going from zero to 80 without a gradual easing in... Maybe the injuries aren't related. Then you bring in ab. A move that stunted the growth trajectory. Plus all the injuries. I'd say it's panned out well considering the turmoil.

From coming Monday onwards he can start practicing with the Team if they choose to activate him

Maybe I'm misreading your intent. If I am, my apologies. But, bringing in AB did not stunt the growth trajectory. It sped up the improvement. Cutting AB loose is what stunted the growth trajectory.

He’ll be able to return to the field next week with the Patriots if he’s physically ready. He won’t be eligible to be activated until Week 9 at the earliest, however.

You cannot count on Harry when he has not proven himself.

Every Patriots season there is a RB or WR waiting in the wings to save the day and every season the guy busts.

Hope is not a plan.

The question is "count on Harry" for what?

After a couple of weeks of practice, I expect Harry to be a better 5th WR than Gunner.

This is a major overreaction right here.

Pats are getting at least seed two. They will win the home divisional round game to get to AFCCG 9th straight time.

A couple key 3rd down conversions in key spots could make all the difference in the world. Look at Dorsett and how he has contributed big plays in some pretty big spots.

I thought his name was Henry?

You expect us to get to the AFCCG with Edelman, Myers, and Gunner as our WR's, and with our blocking TE being the worst in the league, and with no FB? with Newhouse as our starting LT? Really?

That was yesterday's team.

Anything north 0f 20 receptions for him will be ok given that he will have missed 8 games minimum and is a rookie.

Anything north of 30 receptions for him will be great given that he will have missed 8 games minimum and is a rookie.

I don't think we can expect him to be Hollywood Brown in this offense. Especially not after missing half a season.

yes. We are going to be 8 and 0 in two weeks, 13-3 at the worst this season.

we made the AFCCG in 2006 with horrendous wr talent

That's the debate... Keeping him it would be all ponies and rainbows or keeping him would have eroded the locker room. I personally wish he never came

My only question with harry is will he always have a cornerback draped over him when he makes a catch? Kid needs to learn how separate off the line a lot better.

You don’t think Wynn will be able to hold it down when he returns?

That’s what Gordon looks like now.

The offense needs someone who is quick and gets open quickly. We had that for a week in AB.

That move he left Rowe in the dust was a thing of beauty when Brady overthrew him for a TD.

The narrative with that season was the offense was good enough because the D was #1 in the NFL.

When the D didn't bring it's A game in the 2nd 1/2 @ Indy, the offense couldn't keep up (even though it scored 27 points).

In 2018 it almost happened again.

This year the D is better but the offense is still developing a rhythm with basically the same offense from 2018 (you could argue its worse talent wise)

Quite frankly, I need to see this O win a shootout to believe we can win that way in 2019
