whats up with these two dudes? I’m able to pick up NBC sports Boston and these two clowns are on. Why the absolute Hate for the Patriots and on a Boston network?

I get not being fanboys or whatever, but man, everything out of their mouth is mocking the Team and just negative. How the hell do they get air time up there?

I am in the minority here because they are pretty much the only sports radio talk show I would listen to in Boston in spite of exactly what you are talking about.

Is it annoying? Yes, they are when it comes to the Patriots. My opinion is I think someone whether Belichick or the Org themselves favored other people like Ordway years ago.

The thing is, at least to me, their show is very funny, easily the best. I call in a lot actually. I listen to it most days.

I love the Pats, but I get a kick out of how they troll us, and they are the highest rated show for a reason.

Felger isn't good enough to succeed without his schtick. When he tried playing it more straight up, he was getting nowhere. So, now, he takes advantage of one of the features of Boston sports fans, which is that there are sizeable contingents of the perpetually aggrieved and the overly sensitive homers. So, by trolling the hell out of every topic, rather than actually looking honestly at things, F&M are able to pick up a large audience of very silly listeners.

The cat gets encouragement from the show, though...

yes, by a wide margin. Felger is from Wisconsin he likes the Packers, but rags on them as well. He rags on the whole league as trash. Mazz was a Red Sox beat writer, but was hijacked by Mike a long time ago.

The show is very fun, no matter what the homers say lol

It's called programming. Apparently people like to call up and argue with them. I try to watch when Bedard is on but not otherwise. Just ignore them.

Monday afternoon driving around and heard Felger and Mazz... about 10 minutes into the show they were talking about how Brady took those sacks last Sunday because he did not want to adversely effect his QBR or Completion Percentage...

Bunches of horsecrap daily.. Felger and Mazz "hate" KVN and discuss their feelings often..

Most of sportstalk radio has become unlistenable.. so I don't.

they do get it. It might go away some day, but they created a hell of a niche, number 1. And basically killed "The Big Show", which I also loved, and did not believe anyone could crush them at that time.

I find it very entertaining the way they basically troll and singe the fan base. I don't agree with them about anything. But there show is funnier and way less boring than all the other radio talk shows imo.

That's just my take.
