A 4th for Howard a second for Diggs sounds like a plan.
But if I could only have one I would take Diggs.
Would love to get Harry on the field and see what he can do.

a 2nd for Howard?
That would be good for both sides, but I think tampa isn't ready to give up on him yet.
And about the cap hit of wrs, if we trade for sanders in the deadline, if I'm not wrong, his cap hit would be about a little more than 5m and aj green more than 6m (6.7 if I remember correctly)
We would need to create a lot of cap room (need a little for emergencies and other stuff) and push more money to 2020
And if someone believe in a Gronk comeback, would need around more 2m

don't think the Vikes will trade him. OJ Howard sounds like the plan. Solves TE issues, young and is cheap

I was initially excited about the signing of Watson whom I like and respect, but given the context of the present team and the likelihood that BB sees the onboard TEs improving, keeping Ben at $2M did not markedly improve the 53. BB must think the younger guys have unrealized upside that he can actualize by playing them and developing them this season. Still a few games vs not top teams before the quality opponent stretch.
I expected Watson would NOT be added Monday. BB is clearly positioning cap $ for a trade. I expect some extensions should the needed 2nd party to a trade materialize.

Diggs and Howard would be a sick coup.
Even Howard alone would open up some things in the passing game.
I'd easily throw a 4th

I can't see Diggs Vikes too Paltry at WR after Thielen.

Diggs in a interview yesterday said he was happy staying in Minnesota then he winked to the reporter.
I have a theory they told him if he would stay in line and be a good soldier they would entertain a trade.
Obviously he wants to be a Patriot and the glaring need is there.
My concern is Buff will try to swing the trade to strengthen their corps and hurt and beat the Pats as well.
I also agree perfect time for a trade would be soon to get them up to speed for the Mini bye week.
I know Diggs isn't as old as Brady may like but he is a talent.
Side note loved him coming out it seems Maryland has a good pipeline Into the NFL.
Why can't we draft the right receiver?
I know he hasn't been on the field yet but both Metcalf Hardeman and Samuel Look pretty good.
Hope Harry doesn't bust.

While I agree, a unhappy player is bad for the locker room.
Could see Minnesota trade for a mid level talent and part with Diggs.

Just had this thought but I highly doubt it what if the Patriots shock us like they love to do and trade Harry for Diggs straight up?
Maybe they don't like what they've seen on the practice field?
Maybe Tom and him won't get on the same page any time soon.
Just thinking this saves the Pats a draft pick for next season as well as replaces a player with a player we get the more accomplished polished player.
Minnesota saves face by getting a first round athletic stud they can mold and have on a rookie contract.
I may be completely off on this but when was the last time a rookie receiver missed this much time and developed here?
Let me reiterate I don't want to trade Harry but the thought has merit and makes some sense.

Don't forget A.J. Brown my personal fav and Terry McLaurin Redskins the class have done very which means there is hope for Harry.

Tight ends remain invisible in Arizona Cardinals’ offense

I don’t know...this has been an issue with Arians over his career. His offense uses TEs as blockers without a lot of targets. If he is constantly talking to the press and saying it’s the player’s fault for not getting open, and Howard is making headlines week after week, I’m thinking behind closed doors this is a very sour relationship.

This team does not do well with young WRs. The offense is so complicated that still no one has learned it quickly since Deion Branch (unless you count Malcolm Mitchell). Even Edelman was on his way out in 2013 before a fortunate re-signing, though clearly the Patriots didn’t realize how much potential was there.

Do we think that's Mcdaniels offense?
Or is it Brady's demands and expectations?

I like the creativity but the money doesn't work this year. Harry doesn't represent a significant cap savings if he is traded.

After 2019 Diggs's money becomes very reasonable.

I dunna know...

I think both but in particular Brady’s expectations. Brady didn’t understand the game in the early-mid 2000s like he does now. Back then, draft picks were expected to catch on, and they did just fine. Now it’s like a four year long initiation process that often never happens.

That's the way I see it too Diggs in an Off-season acquisition: Edelman getting longer in the tooth. We don't know about Gordon and booth he and Dorsett are FA's at years end.

I cannot agree to trading Edelman on grounds as I will go straight to Hell where my soul is stuck with burning hot spears and listen to Baby Shark on an endless loop for 1000 years .
